Hagonoy National High School Conducts the First Departmentalized LAC Session for this School Year 2026-2027.

Hagonoy National High School successfully conducted its Learning Action Cell (LAC) Sessions among teachers from both the Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) Departments.

The activity served as a meaningful venue for teachers to engage in professional collaboration, share best practices, discuss classroom experiences, and strengthen strategies that support effective teaching and improved learner achievement. Through the departmentalized LAC sessions, teachers were able to focus on relevant instructional concerns, curriculum implementation, learner needs, and innovative approaches suited to their respective learning areas.

This initiative reflects the school’s continuous commitment to promoting a culture of lifelong learning, reflective teaching, teamwork, and professional growth. By learning together, teachers become more equipped to address challenges in the classroom and provide quality, responsive, and learner-centered education.

This July, we join the nation in celebrating Nutrition Month 2026 with the sub-theme “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!” — a call to strengthen the link between proper nutrition and environmental protection, especially in the face of climate change.

Good nutrition begins with a healthy environment. Climate change affects our food systems by disrupting agriculture, fisheries, and food supply chains, which may limit access to nutritious foods such as fruits, vegetables, and fish. This can increase the risk of malnutrition, especially among children, pregnant women, and vulnerable families.

As one school community, let us take part in building healthier and more sustainable food habits by:
