WORK AND CLASSES SUSPENDED IN SELECT AREAS ON AUGUST 13
Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 125, work in government offices and classes at all levels in public and private schools in the following areas are suspended starting 3:00 p.m. on August 13, 2026:
π National Capital Region (NCR)
π Zambales
π Bataan
π Bulacan
π Pampanga
π Tarlac
π Nueva Ecija
π Cavite
π Batangas
π Rizal
π Laguna
π Quezon
Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.
The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

"Batay sa rekomendasyon ng Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), para sa kaligtasan at upang makapaghanda ang ating mga kalalawigan laban sa anumang panganib na maaaring idulot ng pag-ulan o pagbaha bunsod ng pinalakas na hanging habagat, idinedeklara ng inyong lingkod ang SUSPENSYON NG KLASE SA LAHAT NG ANTAS, PAMPUBLIKO AT PRIBADONG PAARALAN, sa Lunes, ika-10 ng Agosto 2026.
Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat na manatiling ligtas, mag-ingat at maging handa sa anumang maaaring idulot ng masamang panahon.
Patuloy tayong manalangin sa Panginoon para sa kaligtasan ng bawat Bulakenyo."

In view of the continued heavy rainfall brought about by Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon, and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), work in government offices and classes at all levels in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Abra, Zambales, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Nueva Vizcaya, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, and Occidental Mindoro are hereby suspended on 06 August 2026.
Agencies delivering essential and emergency services shall continue their operations. The suspension of work in private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.
