Sta. Elena Elementary School successfully conducted its Parents’ Orientation, attended by parents and guardians from different grade levels. The meeting aimed to provide important information and updates for this new school year.
The program was formally opened with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and it was conducted by Mrs. Concepcion C. Reyes followed by a prayer lef by Mrs. Josefina B. Nunez. Attendance checking was headed by Mrs. Rufina F. Martin. Ma'am Jocelyn M. Perez gave her welcome remarks followed by a word of gratitude delivered by Mrs. Minerva B. Tamayo, SPTA President. Meanwhile the discussions of key topics highlighting essential parts of the academic structure was done by Mr. Ronnìe V. Magbìtang.
Mrs. Jocelyn M. Perez, School Head, shared her talk on “Hayo, Hinay, Hinga, Hinto”, emphasizing discipline, mindfulness, and proper conduct among learners.
Mrs. Josefina B. Nunez addressed the crucial issue of bullying, reminding parents of their role in fostering a safe environment for children.
Mrs. Glenda C. Ramos gave her topics about the School based Feeding Program for the Key stage 1 learners. The importance of giving proper nutrition for the school children was given emphasis.
The program was smoothly facilitated by Mr. Raymund E. Santos as Emcee, ensuring the orderly flow of activities. Finally, the orientation concluded with a collective call for cooperation between parents, teachers, and school leaders to ensure a successful and meaningful School Year 2026–2027..

First Flag Raising Ceremony

The DepEd Tayo Bulacan- Sta Elena Elementary School officially welcomed its learners with the First Flag Raising Ceremony. The program was led by the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) together with their Adviser, Mrs. Maria Juanita B. Ramos.
School Head Mrs. Jocelyn M. Perez delivered her heartfelt welcome remarks, inspiring students to embrace the new school year with discipline, unity, and hope. The ceremony symbolized not only the raising of the flag but also the rising of dreams, values, and commitment to education.
This opening day reminded everyone that learning is a shared journey—teachers guiding, parents supporting, and learners striving to reach their goals. Truly, it was a meaningful start filled with pride, purpose, and promise.

The Brigada Eskwela Kick‑Off Ceremony was successfully conducted at DepEd Tayo Bulacan- Sta Elena Elementary School this morning June 1, 2026, in accordance with DepEd Memorandum No. 014, s. 2026, which emphasizes the spirit of Bayanihan for Education. The memorandum encourages schools to strengthen partnerships and volunteerism in preparing learning spaces for the opening of classes.
The program formally opened with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, led by Mrs. Rufina F. Martin, followed by a heartfelt prayer led by Mrs. Prisilla T. Magbitang.
The objectives of the activity are to:.
🌻 Ensure safe and conducive learning environments.
🌻 Promote volunteerism and community participation.
🌻 Foster collaboration among stakeholder.
The program was led by Mrs. Jocelyn M. Perez, School Head Principal I, who delivered an inspiring message highlighting unity and cooperation. Representing the Sangguniang Barangay of Sta. Elena, Hon. Rolando “Poyo” Atienza extended his support to the school’s initiatives. Mrs. Minerva B. Tamayo, speaking on behalf of the SPTA, expressed gratitude to parents and teachers for their continued dedication.
Mrs. Maricris T. Medina, School Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, shared her message emphasizing teamwork and volunteer spirit. Mr. Ronnie V. Magbitang, Faculty President, delivered words of gratitude to all participants and partners who contributed to the success of the event.
The highlight of the ceremony was the Signing of the Commitment Wall, headed by Mrs. Jocelyn M. Perez, followed by representatives from the Sangguniang Barangay, Faculty Members, Barangay Health Workers, 4Ps beneficiaries, School PTA Officers, SELG, parents, community members, and learners.
The entire program was smoothly facilitated by Mr. Raymund E. Santos, who served as the Master of Ceremony. The event concluded with a strong call for unity and cooperation as Sta. Elena Elementary School officially launched its Brigada Eskwela 2026.
