📣📣📣PUBLIC ADVISORY:📣📣📣

In light of the circulating social media posts and reports regarding an alleged threat involving students, the school administration is taking this matter with the utmost seriousness. As a precautionary measure and to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, classes are hereby suspended today, July 27, 2026.

The school is already coordinating with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and other concerned authorities for the immediate investigation and validation of the information. Appropriate actions will be undertaken in accordance with existing laws and DepEd policies.

We strongly urge everyone to remain calm and refrain from spreading unverified information that may cause unnecessary fear or panic. Parents and learners are encouraged to monitor only the school’s official communication channels for verified updates.

The safety and security of our school community remain our highest priority. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding as we work closely with the authorities to address this matter.

Further announcements regarding the resumption of classes will be issued through the school’s official page and other official communication channels.

Thank you, and stay safe.

In observance of National CPR Day, SERU members enhanced their lifesaving skills through proper Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, held on July 17, 2026, at the Gumaca National High School Training Center.

🧹 Weekly Clean-up Drive🧹

SERU members participated in a school campus clean-up activity to help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for everyone.

Through teamwork and volunteerism, we continue to support the improvement of Gumaca National High School. Every piece of litter collected and every area cleaned is a simple act of service that makes a meaningful difference.

As members of SERU, we believe that service begins with taking care of our surroundings. Together, we inspire others to value cleanliness, protect our environment, and show that even small actions can lead to a better and brighter school community.

🌱 Tree Planting Activity 🌱

SERU officers and cadets of "Gumaca National High School" came together for a tree planting activity to help make our school greener, cleaner, and more beautiful. This activity reminded us that even small actions, like planting a tree, can make a big difference in protecting the environment and creating a better future for everyone.

We are thankful to everyone who participated and helped make this activity successful. As members of CAT/SERU, we will continue to serve through our actions and encourage others to care for nature, because every tree we plant today is a step toward a greener and brighter tomorrow.
