El Filibusterismo follows Simoun, a wealthy jeweler who secretly plans to start a revolution against the corrupt Spanish government in the Philippines. Simoun is actually Crisostomo Ibarra from Noli Me Tangere, who returned with a new identity after suffering injustice. He tries to use his influence and wealth to destroy the abusive system. However, his plans fail, and he eventually realizes that revenge and violence will not truly free the country. The story highlights injustice, corruption, and the struggle for reform.

The Youth Leadership Summit held on July 4-5 2025 wasn’t just an event—it was a life-shaping experience that led us to rediscover who we truly are:

With the guidance of Christians for Nation Building, we reflected on the question “Sino Ako?”—and found the answers not just in words, but in calling.
