July 2026 || Nutrition Month Celebration
Bantad National High School successfully celebrated Nutrition Month 2026 with the theme, “Sa PPAN: Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan.”
From colorful Nutrition Corners and meaningful 5-Minute Nutri-Agri Talks to healthy Nutri-Baon, organic gardening, and the Gulayan sa Paaralan Tiangge Festival, our learners turned lessons into action without interrupting their classes. They planted, harvested, prepared, shared, earned profits and learned—discovering that good nutrition is not only about what we eat, but also about how we care for our land, our community, and one another.
The celebration was made even more meaningful through the support of OIC-Principal, Ma'am Roberta Rae C. Bumanglag through her insightful remarks on nutrition and environment before the opening program; Gumaca-Municipal Agriculture Office, which provided vegetable seeds, seedling trays, organic fertilizer, and plastic drums and other agricultural inputs for sustainable organic farming; and through the continuing partnership with Sanjo’s Farm Community in promoting hands-on organic agriculture and sustainable food production.
More than a celebration, Nutrition Month 2026 became a shared journey of learning. Because at Bantad NHS, we don't just grow vegetables —we grow healthier learners, stronger communities, and hope for a better tomorrow through caring for the environment.
