Delegates from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, arrived in Bicol today, August 23, for the Japan-Philippines Student Immersion Program: Community Engagement and Sustainable Development in Bicol ASEAN Intercultural Experience.

The delegates will visit various areas in Bicol alongside representatives from the College-based Organization and Department-based Organization of Bicol University Guinobatan from August 23 to September 1, participating in activities centered on sustainability and intercultural exchange.

๐Œ๐„๐‚๐‡๐€๐๐ˆ๐‚๐’:

1. The design competition is open to all students of Bicol University Guinobatan.

2. Registration for the competition is free. To participate, simply fill out the registration form provided via Google Form, accessible through the provided link.

3. The design shall be centered around BU Guinobatan. Students are given creative freedom as long as their designs represent the essence of the university. For the stickers, students should create a minimum of six (6) designs, while for the pins, they are required to submit five (5) designs.

4. Designs generated using artificial intelligence (AI) are strictly prohibited. Any entry found to be AI-generated will be disqualified.

5. Students shall submit their designs in two formats: one as a clear PNG or JPG file and another as a link to their original design.

6. The designs will be judged and voted on by two (2) parties. Eighty percent (80%) of the results will be based on student votes, while the remaining twenty percent (20%) will be determined through faculty judging.

To allow sufficient time for first-year students, transferees, and returnees to secure their prescribed school uniforms, this Office authorizes them to wear appropriate civilian clothing when attending classes until October 2, 2026. They are, however, required to carry their Certificate of Registration (COR) at all times to facilitate smooth entry into their respective colleges and classes.

For higher-year students, the wearing of the prescribed school uniform shall be strictly enforced effective Monday, August 17, 2026. Wednesdays and Saturdays are designated as wash days; on these days, students may wear appropriate civilian clothing but must always carry their Certificates of Registration (CORs) and/or validated IDs for proper identification.

The PE uniform shall be worn only during scheduled PE classes. Students enrolled in NSTP classes shall likewise adhere to their designated clothing requirements.
Course professors and department chairs are hereby directed to ensure that this Office Memorandum is STRICTLY IMPLEMENTED in their respective classes. Continuous monitoring and compliance are expected.
