Two Projects Turned Over to MORMS
On September 7, 2026, the MORMS Alumni Association, Inc. turned over two projects to MORMS: the School Paper Media and Journalism Equipment Project and the Deep Well Pump Project.
The projects were formally turned over by the MORMSAAI Board of Directors, headed by 1st Vice President Leilani Pavilando, representing the President, and accepted by Dr. Alicia Reberta Lim, MORMS Principal.
The ceremony was held as a hybrid event, with participants joining both in person and via Zoom. Also present were members of the MORMS Administration, former Principal Mr. Al Pelgone, officers and BOD members of MORMSAAI, key members of the Editorial Boards of The Quill and Ang Sinag, and several alumni.

The project provided:
โข 2 Lenovo laptops
โข Canon EOS 3000D camera with 32G SD card
โข Epson L3350 printer
โข 2 wireless microphones
โข SanDisk camera memory card
The equipment was funded through proceeds from the MORMS 79th Founding Anniversary Commemorative Book (Souvenir Program).
This project is a meaningful investment in our student journalists, empowering their voices and providing them with the resources they need to hone their skills, produce quality school publications, and better compete at various levels of school press conferences.
๐ง Deep Well Pump Project โ โฑ44,130.00
The drilling and construction of the deep well pump was funded through the excess funds from the 2024 General Alumni Homecoming.
The Deep Well Pump Project will provide MORMS with an additional source of water and serve as a valuable backup, particularly during brownouts or interruptions to the regular water supply, helping ensure that the schoolโs essential water needs can continue to be met.

The School Paper Project was carried out by Mitzi N. Zildzic (Project Lead), with Ging Octavo Bautista and Migz Rommel Marquez, while the Deep Well Pump Project was managed and overseen by Melchor โTotoโ Velasco. Both projects received the full support of MORMSAAI BOD.
