Formerly Albay High, Pio Duran Memorial School Mr. Jose Ramirez was the principal with 12 teachers for the 400 pioneer students.
1948-The P.T.A. with Mr.
HISTORY
September 1945-Albay High School Guinobatan was opened through the initiative of the late
Congressman Marcial Ostonal Rañola with the Mayor Carlos Pardo in the civic spirited citizen of
the town. Lorenzo Oliver, President purchased the 8 hectare lot which is the present
site.
1954-The Congressman Pio Duran espoused the construction of the pre-fabricated buildings
under Mr. Pacif

Orientation to the parents of Grade 7 students on the Implementation of the School-Based Immunization.
This activity was spearheaded by the MORMS nurse Ma'am Jimenez with the Grade 7 Curriculum and Little Doctors and Nurses' Club (LDNC).
My salute to the LDNC officers and members who facilitated the activity well. Congrats for a job well done. ;)
