Top 8 Performing School for the Licensure Examination for Agriculturists!

𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍 | Newly Licensed Agriculturists from BU Guinobatan
61 out of 75 takers from Bicol University Guinobatan successfully passed this year's Agriculturist Licensure Examination (ALE) held on Nov. 19-21, clinching an 81.33% rating for the university, as announced by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) Tuesday, December 02.
The institution also ranked 8th among the top performing schools with 40 to 99 examinees, as well as having obtained at least 80% with regard to the standard passing rate.
Meanwhile, the nationwide examination for agriculturist logged 6,678 passers out of 9,742 examinees.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
In consideration of the aftermath and continuing effects of Typhoon Uwan across the region, and to allow students, faculty, and staff sufficient time to recover and attend to urgent personal and family needs, this Office hereby declares the continuous implementation of asynchronous classes for all levels and in all campuses of the University until November 16, 2025. The faculty members shall submit an accomplishment report for the actual work done during the period.
This measure aims to ensure the safety and well-being of the entire academic community while maintaining learning continuity amid the current situation. Faculty members are advised to provide flexible learning activities and reasonable deadlines to accommodate students who may still be experiencing connectivity issues or other typhoon-related difficulties.
All academic units are enjoined to extend understanding and support to affected members of the University community as we collectively work toward restoring normal operations once conditions permit.

PUBLIC ADVISORY | Indefinite Postponement of the Administration of BUCET
November 7, 2025
In view of the recent directive from the Bicol University President to reschedule all previously approved student activities, the administration of the Bicol University College Entrance Test (BUCET) at Bicol University- Guinobatan on November 8 – 9, 2025 is hereby indefinitely postponed until further notice.
This decision is made in the interest of ensuring the safety and well-being of all examinees, proctors, and personnel involved in the conduct of the examination.
A new schedule for the BUCET will be released once conditions permit and upon further instructions from the University Administration. Examinees and stakeholders are advised to monitor official Bicol University communication channels for updates and further announcements.

CONDUCT OF ONLINE ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2025
In view of the issuance of Office Memorandum No. 422, series of 2025, and to provide students ample time to travel safely to their respective provinces or localities, this Office hereby announces the implementation of online asynchronous classes effective Friday, November 7. 2025, until further notice. This measure aims to ensure the continuity of academic activities while prioritizing the safety and well-being of the University community.
Faculty members are advised to promptly inform their students to ensure implementation of this directive. They are also required to submit an accomplishment report detailing the tasks and activities conducted during this period.
Office work in all units and offices of the University shall continue as usual. Faculty members involved in Institutional Accreditation (IA) preparations are required to report onsite to ensure the continuous progress of related activities.
All concerned personnel are reminded to remain vigilant and to continuously monitor weather updates from PAGASA and local authorities, in line with the directive contained in Office Memorandum No. 422, series of 2025, to ensure the safety of all personnel and their families, as well as the proper safeguarding of university properties.
