Last March 31, 2026, the Association of Information Technology Students successfully held “𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙃𝙚𝙧: 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙎𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙄” at the PLT Computer Laboratory in celebration of the 2026 National Women’s Month 💻🌸

The seminar brought together teaching and non-teaching staff of PLT College of Guinobatan, Inc., along with student leaders from various organizations, for a meaningful and empowering session on using AI with purpose.

Jomar Consorte, Dean of the BSIT program of PLT College of Guinobatan, Inc., actively participated in the PSITE National Convention 2026, held from March 26 to 28 at The Marison Hotel. This year’s convention carried the theme, “PSITE 2.0: Augmenting Education, Connecting Community, and Thriving with AI.”

The three-day event provided valuable insights through plenary sessions and technology talks led by prominent industry experts. Key discussions focused on the integration of artificial intelligence and digital innovations in shaping the future of IT education. Through active engagement in high-level discussions and networking opportunities, Consorte reaffirmed a strong commitment to delivering quality, industry-relevant education in the evolving landscape of AI.
