Monicanians stepped into their dreams during the Career Day held yesterday afternoon, proudly wearing the uniforms and attire of their future professions. From future engineers, teachers, doctors, and leaders, the activity allowed students to envision the paths they aspire to take one day.

With confidence and excitement, Monicanians embraced the opportunity to dream, prepare, and work towards the careers they hope to achieve in the future.

PHOTOS | Would you know what to do when the ground starts shaking?”

Yesterday, the school alarm echoed across the campus — signaling the start of the SMA-GBI Earthquake Drill. Grade 10 St. Monica students quickly responded by performing the Duck, Cover, and Hold routine before calmly heading to the school grounds.

The activity, led by the SMA-GBI Scouts, aimed to help students practice safety, awareness, and discipline in times of emergency. It reminded everyone that being prepared is not just a rule — it’s a responsibility.

How ready are you when an earthquake strikes? Let’s all continue to stay alert, stay safe, and stay prepared!

Our Homeroom, Our Home

There are days when we stumble, laugh too loud, or forget our responsibilities—but Ma’am Frac is always there, steady as ever, reminding us that learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. She’s seen our tired mornings and our noisy afternoons, and still, she chooses to believe in us—every single day.

We like to say she’s our second mom, because she cares the way only a mother could: with understanding, a little scolding, and a whole lot of love.

On this Teachers’ Day, we just want to say thank you—for the patience, the kindness, and the faith you’ve never failed to show us. You’ve given us more than knowledge; you’ve given us a home inside your classroom.
