Who can participate?

Currently enrolled Senior High School, college, or university students from Region 3
26 years old or younger and born on or after January 1, 2000
Teams of four (4) members from the same school

Participants will tackle challenges in Steganography, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), Web Application Security, Network Forensics and Security, and other cybersecurity disciplines.

The Regional Champion will advance to the 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐆𝐨𝐯 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬, while outstanding individual performers may be considered for a Wildcard opportunity.

Subnetting Made Simple — /24 vs /25 vs /26 vs /27!

Subnetting is one of the most important skills for every CCNA student and network engineer. Understanding block sizes helps you quickly calculate network ranges, usable hosts, and subnet boundaries.

Starting with 192.168.1.0/24:

✅ /24 → 256 addresses | 254 usable hosts
✅ /25 → 128 addresses | 126 usable hosts
✅ /26 → 64 addresses | 62 usable hosts
✅ /27 → 32 addresses | 30 usable hosts

💡 Remember: As the prefix length increases, the subnet becomes smaller and supports fewer hosts.
