San Miguel Jordan Literacy Hub is now back in operation!

Sa sini nga adlaw kita nag bukas sang aton Literacy Hub kag naghiwat kita sang nahauna nga session sang aton mga non-reading learners. Salamat sa tanan nga nagtambong kag nakipagbahin kaupod sa aton nga partners Brgy. San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras, Hon. Katya Tico Delgado kag ang LGU Jordan.

Ilabi sa tanan, kita nagapasalamat sa aton volunteachers kag mga ginikanan. Padayon kita sa ngalan sang pagbasa.

UPDATES: October 16, 2022

Angat Buhay Inc. Literacy Hub San Miguel Jordan, Guimaras, conducted the Parent's Orientation at Angat Buhay Literacy Hub, Brgy. Hall, San Miguel. Out of 33 pre-assessed students endorsed by Cresente P. Chavez Central School, 20 students had chosen based on the criteria to enroll/ participate in the said program. These children will be guided by respective volunteers (Volunteachers) according to the schedules given. Children will undergo one to one literacy sessions until they can read and write.

Angat Buhay, Inc. San Miguel, Jordan Literacy Hub conducted the first Pre- Assessment with the recommended list of students from Cresente P. Chavez, Central School. This pre-assessment aims to identify readers and non-readers from grades 1 -4 and will be clustered based on the result. The qualified students for the program will be the beneficiaries of the San Miguel Angat Buhay Literacy Hub. These kids will be taught and supervised by Volunteachers to track the progress of the students to let them able to read and write.
We would like to recognize our partner for this activity, the Cresente P. Chavez Central School - San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras, through the supervision of Ma'am Daisy A. Solis and Ma'am Arlen G. Gardose with the Advisers of students we conducted the Assessment.
We would also like to acknowledge the efforts of our hardworking Volunteers who make way to make this activity possible. Christele Joy Diaz, Kiev Darren Mejica, Christ Mae Diaz, Karren Jay Asgar, Clarisse Bunol, Raj Mathew Barrozo, Leny Belle Galamiton, and Lennie Rubrico.

18 Sept 2022| Angat Buhay Literacy Hub conducted the second day of its training program for volunteers.

The two-day training for San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras -Angat Buhay Literacy Hub had concluded. It was training for Volunteachers in enhancing their skills and learnings in teaching children. We are grateful to these volunteers for realizing that it takes a Village to raise a child.
