The SPA Department of Guihulngan National High School-Poblacion extends our warmest invitation to you all to witness the culmination of the National Arts Month '26 with the theme 𝑨𝒏𝒊 𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈: 𝑲𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑮𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 on March 6, 2026, at 1:30 pm at the school gym. MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST 2026 Guidelines and Mechanics

Theme: 𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒅𝒂𝒚

Theme Description:

In line with National Arts Month 2026 (𝑨𝒏𝒊 𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈: 𝑲𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑮𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈), this contest invites you to capture the 𝑮𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 (courage) that exists in silence. We are looking for photos that reveal the 𝑲𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏 (truth) of resilience in our community. This could be the quiet strength of a worker, the persistence of a student, or the beauty of everyday struggle and triumph within Guihulngan City.

Mechanics & Guidelines:

1. This contest is open to all Grades 7-12 students of GNHS-Poblacion.
2. You can submit only one (1) photo entry.
3. Photos must be taken within Guihulngan City.
4. Your entry must be your own original work. Do not include copyrighted material, other people's artworks, or existing photos.
5. Mobile devices only: Use mobile phones, action cameras, or 360 cameras. Mirrorless, APS-C, or Full-Frame cameras are not allowed.
6. Keep the image clean: * No date stamps, watermarks, or any text on the photo.
7. You can crop the photo or adjust colors (shadows and highlights), but photo manipulation is not allowed.
Photos must be original, taken between January 1 and February 25, 2026, and must not have been previously awarded or published in news, ads, or social media.
8. Use LANDSCAPE (HORIZONTAL) FORMAT. Ensure the image is high resolution (at least 12MP equivalent) using the device's best settings.
9. Submit your entry via the official Google Form link: https://bit.ly/GNHSP-MPC2026 or scan the QR code below.
How to name your file: Please rename your file using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS before uploading.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS Guidelines and Mechanics

1) The contest is a battle of the bands where it requires a group of student-performers.

2)The contest is open to all bonafide students of GNHS-P as of the S.Y. 2025-2026.

3) Every competing group must be of the same grade level regardless of their sections.

4) Guidelines and mechanics number 3 does not apply with the Special Programs due to the Special Programsis considered as one department.

5) Grade level band representatives are not limited to 1 band representative.

6) The group/ band must be limited to 4-6 members only who are able to sing, and play musical instruments such as the drum set, bass guitar, electric guitar, and keyboards and etc.

7) During the battle, a drum set, guitar/bass/keys amplifier is provided.

8.) Having and bringing their own guitar/bass guitar/keyboards is much appreciated but if not available, 1
electric guitar and 1bass guitar is prepared by the organizers.

9) The contest requires each band to perform 2 song pieces (1 official contest piece and 1 band’s song of
choice)

10) The contest piece is “Noypi” by Bamboo. The contest piece requires to be given another rendition or
interpretation or arrangement.

11) The band’s song choice is any OPM song that is in (English, Tagalog, or Cebuano) with no foul words.

12) All bands must fill out a registration form available at the SPA MUSIC ROOM at every 10:45 AM -12:30 PM.

13) The Deadline for the registration will be on February 20, 2026.

14) There will be a prejudging on February 27, 2026. The Morning Shift, SH-11, 10:45-12:00 AM. The
Afternoon Shift, SH-12, and Special Programs 3:45-5:00 PM at the music room.

15) Only the top 3 will continue to the main battle on March 6, 2026.
