SELG ELECTION DAY/ 02-12-26
Today, the pupils of Imelda Elementary School actively participated in the SELG Election Day. Every student was given the opportunity to exercise their right to vote and take part in choosing their student leaders.
As the ballots were cast and hopes were written in every vote, the future leaders of Imelda Elementary School began to rise. Even at a young age, the spirit of leadership and shared responsibility lives in the hearts of our pupils.❤️
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped and supported this meaningful activity, especially our SELG Adviser Mr Dante A. Bebelone , and the dedicated teachers who guided our learners throughout the process. 😍😊

The Toothbrushing Program for Week 1 was successfully conducted at Imelda Elementary School with the aim of promoting proper oral hygiene and developing healthy habits among learners. The activity focused on demonstrating the correct way of toothbrushing to help prevent tooth decay and maintain good dental health.
The activity started with a short discussion about the importance of brushing teeth regularly, especially after meals and before going to bed. Learners were taught how proper toothbrushing helps keep teeth strong, clean, and free from cavities. They actively participated by answering simple questions and sharing their daily toothbrushing practices.
A step-by-step demonstration of proper toothbrushing was then conducted. Learners were shown the correct way to hold the toothbrush, the proper amount of toothpaste to use, and the proper brushing strokes, including brushing the front, back, and chewing surfaces of the teeth, as well as the tongue. The importance of brushing gently and for at least two minutes was also emphasized.
The activity ended with reminders on brushing twice a day and maintaining good oral hygiene at home. Overall, the Week 1 Toothbrushing demonstration was successfully implemented and helped increase the learners’ awareness and understanding of proper toothbrushing practices.
Thank you DepEd and Colgate 🥰

In support of the Department of Education’s commitment to strengthen digital learning and improve internet connectivity in public schools, our institution was selected as one of the recipients of the Starlink Satellite Internet Program. This initiative aims to provide fast, reliable, and accessible internet service to geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas, ensuring that both teachers and learners can benefit from modern educational technologies.
Furthermore, the Starlink connection will strengthened communication between the school and the Department of Education, parents, and other stakeholders. Submission of reports, participation in online conferences, and dissemination of important information will now become more timely and efficient.
The school expresses its sincere gratitude to the Department of Education for this valuable support, which greatly contributes to the advancement of quality education and digital transformation. With this opportunity, the school commits to maximizing the use of the Starlink connectivity to promote innovative teaching strategies, improve learning outcomes, and ensure that no learner is left behind in the digital age.
