My academic journey from elementary to high school was filled with hope and determination. I grew up watching my mother and father work tirelessly just to provide for me and my sister's education. Their sacrifices became my greatest motivation to study hard and pursue my dreams.
However, everything changed when I entered college. The pillar of our family suddenly left us without any explanation. We had no idea where he went or why he chose to leave. At that moment, I questioned whether I would still be able to continue my studies. College education is expensive, and with only my mother carrying the burden of our family, the future seemed uncertain.
Despite everything, my mother never hesitated to send me to school. She continued to fight for our dreams, even if it meant carrying all the responsibilities alone. Still, I constantly asked myself, "๐๐๐ค๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ ๐ง๐๐ค๐จ ๐ง๐ข? ๐๐๐ค๐-๐ก๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ ๐ค๐จ'๐ ๐ฌ๐ค๐ฐ๐๐ฅ๐?"
Then, one day, I came across a post from the CARE Center announcing that they were looking for scholarship beneficiaries for the academic year. I immediately submitted my application during my first year in college, hoping and praying for a chance.
Months passed, and I almost forgot that I had applied. Then, while I was already in my second year, I was surprised to see my name on the CARE Center's posted list of scholarship beneficiaries. I was completely clueless because I never expected it anymore. When someone told me, "๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ! ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ง๐ ๐ค๐!" I could not believe what I had heard. The only words that came out of my mouth were, "๐๐จ๐ซ๐, ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ! ๐๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ ๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐จ ๐๐ค๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ."
The scholarship became one of the greatest blessings I have ever received. It eased the financial burden my mother had been carrying and allowed me to focus on my studies without constantly worrying about expenses. More than the financial assistance, TES gave me hope, confidence, and the strength to keep chasing my dreams.

This financial assistance became one of the greatest blessings throughout my college journey, especially during my practice teaching. Coming from a family with limited financial resources, there were times when I worried about how I would afford the expenses required in my studies. Through the TES, I was able to purchase essential teaching materials such as bond papers, printer ink, visual aids, markers, folders, and other instructional resources that helped me prepare meaningful and engaging lessons for my students. It also eased the burden of transportation and other school-related expenses, allowing me to focus more on becoming an effective future educator rather than worrying about finances.
Practice teaching is one of the most challenging yet rewarding phases of teacher education. It demands dedication, creativity, and adequate resources to provide quality learning experiences for students. Because of the TES, I was able to fulfill these responsibilities with confidence and passion. More than the financial support, CHED TES gave me hope, motivation, and the opportunity to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher despite life's challenges.
Today, as a college graduate, I look back with immense gratitude and pride. The TES did not only support my educationโit invested in my future and empowered me to become someone who can make a positive difference in the lives of others through education.
