𝟭𝟱 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The 528th Department of Military Science and Tactics (DMST) at Negros Oriental State University – Guihulngan Campus successfully conducted its 5th and 6th Saturday Formation, featuring a meaningful lecture facilitated by the Philippine Army on communism and its historical and contemporary context in the Philippines.

The session was facilitated by 𝗖𝗣𝗧 𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗟𝗢 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗘𝗟 𝗗. 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗔-𝗔𝗡 (𝗜𝗡𝗙) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹-𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 of the 𝟲𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 “𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿” 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻, who provided the cadets with valuable insights into the origins, development, and impact of communist movements in the country.

The discussion emphasized the importance of awareness, critical thinking, patriotism, and responsible citizenship, helping cadets better understand national security concerns and the challenges affecting peace and stability in our communities.

Beyond military drills and practical exercises, these learning sessions broaden the cadets’ understanding of their role as future leaders and responsible citizens. Through continued training and education, the cadets strengthen not only their discipline and military bearing but also their commitment to service and the nation.

REMINDERS:
All cadets are required to observe proper grooming.
Proper Bearing (Type C Uniform)

For Male:
Grooming: No earrings, no mustache. Fingernails clean and trimmed.
Uniform: White round-neck T-shirt (tucked in), Maong pants.
Footwear/Belt: dark-colored buckle belt (dark blue). Plain white socks and preferably white shoes.
Prohibited: No accessories.

For Female:
Grooming: No makeup. Hair secured with gel/hair net/clips. White sando (undershirt). Fingernails clean and trimmed.
Uniform: White round-neck T-shirt (tucked in), Maong pants.

You don’t need a battlefield to be a hero, nor do you need to wait for a crisis to save a world. 𝙎𝙜𝙩 𝙀𝙣𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙙𝙖 (𝙍𝙚𝙨) shows us that the ultimate form of service is extending your hand when others need it most. Progress is built through consistency, discipline, and dedication. The AFROTC Cadets of Negros Oriental State University – Guihulngan Campus gathered once again for the 4th Saturday Formation, continuing their training through practical exercises, military instruction, and lectures.

As the cadets advance through their training, each formation provides an opportunity to strengthen their discipline, improve their military bearing, and develop the knowledge and skills expected of future leaders. Through teamwork, perseverance, and commitment to service, they continue to grow not only as cadets but as responsible citizens ready to serve the nation.

Another Saturday, another step forward. The AFROTC Cadets of Negros Oriental State University – Guihulngan Campus gathered for the 4th Saturday Formation, continuing their journey through military training, practical exercises, and classroom instruction.

Through every formation, drill, and lesson, the cadets continue to develop discipline, confidence, teamwork, and proper military bearing. These moments capture their dedication and perseverance as they progress through their training and work toward becoming responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented future leaders.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The 528th Department of Military Science and Tactics (DMST) at Negros Oriental State University – Guihulngan Campus successfully conducted its third Saturday Formation as part of its continuing military instruction program.

During the activity, cadets were introduced to Palakaran, where they learned the proper standards of military appearance, bearing, and conduct expected of every Air Force ROTC cadet. This was followed by a lecture on the Legal Basis of the Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps (AFROTC), providing cadets with a deeper understanding of the laws, policies, and purpose that govern the ROTC program and its role in developing disciplined, patriotic, and service-oriented citizens.

Through continuous lectures and practical instruction, the 528th DMST remains committed to shaping competent cadets who embody discipline, leadership, and unwavering dedication to the nation.
