Ngayong Araw ng Kagitingan, sabay-sabay nating gunitain ang katapangan ng bawat mamamayang Pilipino na inialay ang kanilang dugo, pawis, at buhay makamit lamang ang kalayaan ng ating bansa.

Kaakibat ng paggunita natin sa makabuluhang araw ay ang ating pagpupugay sa mga beterano, sa ating mga sundalo, at sa bawat Pilipinong lumaban sa pang-aapi ng dayuhan at ipinagtanggol ang kasarinlan ng Inang Bayan.

Bilang mga mag-aaral ng Bicol University Gubat Campus, kami ay nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kagitingan! Ipagpatuloy natin ang laban para sa kalayaan, kapayapaan, at karunungan.✊🇵🇭

Today, we commemorate the historic 𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, a powerful testament to the unity, courage, and faith of the Filipino people. This moment in our nation’s history shows that when individuals stand together with integrity and purpose, change is possible.

From February 22–25, 1986, millions of Filipinos gathered on the streets of EDSA in peaceful protest. Through their unity and determination, they ended years of dictatorship and helped restore democracy.

As BSEd students of Bicol University Gubat Campus, we are inspired to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and courage as future educators and responsible Filipino citizens. For millions of Filipinos, the revolution remains a symbol of hope and freedom, reminding us that our collective voice create change.

𝗚𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗫𝗶 𝗙𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗶, BSEdians! 🧧✨
Handa na ba ang inyong mga pampaswerte? Naka-red na ba para good vibes all year? Nakapaghanda na ba ng bilog na prutas para tuloy-tuloy ang prosperity?
O baka naman mas handa ang puso mo , dahil nabihag na ng isang chinito o chinita? 👀❤️

But this celebration is more than the excitement and good luck charms; it is also a reminder of new beginnings, fresh pages, renewed goals, and stronger bonds.

In Chinese culture, red symbolizes luck and protection, firecrackers drive away misfortune, and giving angpao is about sharing blessings.
As we eat tikoy for “stick together” moments and wear red for confidence, let’s also carry lessons of hard work, discipline, and appreciation for family and community. This is a time not just for fun, but for learning from traditions and applying them in our daily lives.

The legacy continues as the 𝗕𝗦𝗘𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 hailed as the 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 in the concluded 𝑩𝑼𝑮𝑪𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝑮𝒐𝒕 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒕𝑽𝒊𝑴𝒖𝒔𝑫𝒂 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 last January 30, 2026 that was spearheaded by the Bicol University Gubat Campus College Student Council.
