Gonzaga represented by Mark Anthony M. Artis, Master Teacher I of BNHS, the winning booth was a product of teamwork and ingenuity, highlighting innovative educational tools and platforms.

Artis teamed up with educators from Lallo National High School and Camalaniugan National High School, forming a strong Congressional District I (CD1) delegation that brought home the top prize.

Joining the BNHS booth preparations were teachers Celjoy Cabasag, Allan Tiburcio, Novy Regine Mangoma, and Reymild Calipdan, whose dedication and creativity ensured that the schoolโ€™s innovations stood out in the competition.

The BNHS winning displays included:
-Interactive Comic Book developed by Artis to enhance literacy and engagement in classrooms.
-Project BRIDGE (Bridging Repository of Internet-Based Delivery of Guided Educational Materials) โ€” an innovative Learning Management System (LMS) designed by Artis, featuring modules, LAS, assessment tools, attendance monitoring, and a repository of video and audio lessons, including TVBI content.
-Project PALM, a recognized digital initiative promoting authentic learning.
-School Publications of BNHS, highlighting the power of student journalism in the digital age.

The booth impressed judges for its holistic integration of ICT in teaching and learning, proving that innovation thrives in Region II classrooms.

Beyond aesthetics, the exhibit demonstrated how technology can bridge learning gaps and empower both teachers and learners.

With this victory, Congressional District I (CD1), represented by BNHS and its partner schools, also secured the Overall First Place in the conventionโ€™s rankings, a testament to the districtโ€™s leadership in advancing ICT-based education.

โ€œThis triumph is a celebration of love for teaching, the dedication of our teachers, and the vision that learning must evolve with the times,โ€ said Artis, expressing gratitude to his team and the wider Gonzaga education community.

"BNHSโ€™ success in this convention not only brought pride to Gonzaga and SDO Cagayan, but also reaffirmed the schoolโ€™s role as a trailblazer in digital innovation for Philippine education," said Maribel R. Serafica, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) in recognizing the team's accomplishment.

ADM implementation primarily involved a mix of printed modules, self-learning kits, textbooks, digital copies, and online support.

Many schools, such as Rebecca National High School, Gonzaga South Central School (GSCS), and CFPJ National High School, utilized a blended learning approach, combining printed materials with digital resources shared via Facebook groups, chat platforms, and other means.

The Schools Division Office of Cagayan and school leaders took proactive steps in ensuring modules were ready and distributed on time, minimizing disruption in the learning process despite the adverse weather.

For instance, GSCS posted a 95% ADM participation, while Laoc ES (87%), Sta. Maria ES (88%), and Tapel ES (87.5%) also maintained high engagement.

District-wide commitment evident in consistent participation
Across both east and west districts of Gonzaga, data reflect a strong commitment to basic education continuity.

A snapshot of the schools and their respective ADM participation includes:
โ€ข Pateng ES โ€“ 86.53%
โ€ข Batangan IS โ€“ 85%

These high participation rates are a testament to our preparedness and to the shared belief that every learner deserves access to quality education, rain or shine,โ€ said Dr. Serafica.

She also thanked barangay officials and LGU partners for supporting the printing and distribution of materials, ensuring the learners remain safe and engaged in their education.

According to school-submitted data, several institutions even exceeded expectations, with Caroan Elementary School (93.75%), Baua National High School (92%), and Calayan ES (89%) maintaining high engagement through printed and digital modular learning.

Four schools โ€” Cabiraoan ES, Ipil ES, Magrafil ES, and Amunitan ES โ€” reported 100% participation, showcasing best practices in ADM implementation.

โ€ข Cabanbanan Norte ES โ€“ 86.49%
โ€ข Sta. Isabel ES โ€“ 88%
โ€ข San Jose ES โ€“ 87%
โ€ข Sta. Clara ES โ€“ 75%
โ€ข Casitan ES โ€“ 75.4%

Even schools with relatively lower figures were able to reach the majority of their learners using available resources, emphasizing the district's adaptability and resourcefulness.

Dr. Maribel R. Serafica, Public Schools District Supervisor of Gonzaga, lauded the schools, teachers, and parents for their โ€œunwavering commitment to uphold the continuity of learningโ€ despite the suspension of face-to-face classes.

โ€œOur teachers, school heads, and parents have shown that learning does not stop when communities come together.

โ€œThis is not just about modulesโ€”it's about how fast and flexible our schools can respond to emergencies,โ€ Dr. Sharon I. Pulido, District-in-Charge of Gonzaga East added.

The Department of Education continues to monitor the situation, with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) advising the public to remain vigilant due to rising river levels in Baua, Wangag, and nearby tributaries.

As weather conditions improve, schools are preparing for the possible resumption of face-to-face classes while maintaining their ADM options should the need for remote learning continue.
