As we welcome the University Intramurals 2026, please be guided by the designated parking areas, entrances, exits, and restricted areas around the campus.

To help ensure smooth traffic flow, safety, and accessibility throughout the duration of the activities:

• Please use the designated parking areas indicated in the venue maps.
• No parking at the Oval Area.
• No entry at the front area of the CED Building.
• Please observe the designated pedestrian entrance/exit and vehicle exit routes.
• Venue access and restrictions may vary depending on the scheduled activities.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥!

Preparations for the upcoming 2026 University Intramurals and Regional SCUAA continue across the campus.

Our in-house personnel are working on various facility and site preparations—from the completion of court painting and repainting works, landscaping and concreting, electrical and carpentry works, to the construction of temporary facilities and other improvements needed for the upcoming activities.

But while preparations are on the roll, GSU continues to attend to regular facility requests, maintenance concerns, and other works as required across the University. It’s all part of keeping our campus facilities ready, functional, and well-maintained.

QUARTERS ASSIGNMENT & FACILITY REMINDERS

The University Intramurals 2026 is coming up! To help participating colleges locate and properly use their assigned areas, the GSU is sharing the 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, and 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬.

4️⃣ 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬
While using the assigned quarters and University facilities:
• Keep your quarter clean and orderly.
• Take care of University facilities, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Stay in your assigned quarter.
• Clean as you go after activities.
• Observe the restriction on plastic materials in the gymnasium and playing areas.

It’s Wednesday, it’s GSU KNOWS day! 💡

Ever wondered what happens after you submit a facility concern?

Not every request can be addressed by simply sending someone to fix it. Depending on the concern, GSU may first need to inspect the problem, assess the required work, check available materials, determine the appropriate labor, schedule the work, and coordinate with other offices when necessary.

Each request is looked at based on what the concern requires so that the appropriate work can be planned and carried out.

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬.

And sometimes, getting it done right means taking a little time to get it done properly.

Everyday choices can make a difference. As part of the University's commitment to sustainability, the General Services Unit encourages the University community to choose reusable alternatives whenever possible.

Bring your own:

• Reusable tumbler
• Reusable food container
• Reusable bag/ecobag

This initiative is in line with 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐍𝐨. 𝟑𝟐𝟕, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, dated October 7, 2025, on the 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞-𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬.

The memorandum promotes reducing the use of bottled water and single-use plastics in University activities, while encouraging the use of reusable alternatives.

It may be a small change in our daily routine, but when we all take part, it can mean less waste and a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable campus. 🌱

Before leaving a classroom, office, meeting room, or common area, take just 30 seconds to check the space.

Lights — Turn them off if no one will use the room.
ACU — Switch it off when the room is unoccupied.
Water — Make sure faucets are properly closed.
Furniture — Return items to their proper place.
Waste — Clean up and dispose properly.

These may seem like small things, but consistent care helps keep our facilities safe, functional, clean, and ready for the next person.

Getting the campus ready, one task at a time.

Our GSU in-house personnel are currently working on various activities as preparations for 2026 University Intramurals and Regional SCUAA are underway, including:

1. Cleaning and painting of various courts
2. Installation of flood lights
3. Construction of temporary facilities

These may look like small tasks on their own, but each one plays a part in making sure our venues are safe, functional, and ready for the upcoming events.

There’s still work to be done, but we’re getting there—one facility, one repair, and one preparation at a time. #𝐆𝐒𝐔 𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤

Preparations are underway for the University Intramurals this September and ParSU’s hosting of the 2026 Regional SCUAA in October.

Essential supplies and materials have now been delivered to support the preparation of sports venues, courts, temporary facilities, and other event-related spaces.

From the delivery of materials to the work on the ground, GSU’s in-house personnel are working to help get our facilities ready for the upcoming events.
