Our beloved teacher, Sir Arnel Bermejo will undergo by-pass surgery. He is currently in Bicol Medical Center (BMC) ICU right now. The community is raising funds to help sir Berms and his family to support financial obligations for the operation and medical needs.

"𝗣𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆-𝗕𝗥𝗖 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗺 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲

𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲 𝗦𝘆, who finished his junior high school in PSHS-BRC in 2016, graduated with highest honors, 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖 𝘾𝙪𝙢 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙚, on May 14, 2022.

He earned his degree in 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 with a Major in Finance, Minor in Information Technology from the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗸𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗮. For his impressive performance, he also received the Outstanding Student Award 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚."

Jules attended 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 in India for his two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma before he went to the University of Oklahoma as full Davis Scholar.

On his senior year in the university, he was the only student to get the prestigious internship in Investment Banking at the 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮, where he was later offered a job as financial analyst/investment banker.

However, Jules opted to join Moelis Investment Bank in Houston, Texas. Moelis is ranked as one of the best in benefits and opportunities for a career in investment banking. He will start in July, 2022.

In 2018, his sister 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝘆 (a PSHS-BRC alumna) graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma with a Biology degree, Major in Microbiology.

Number three on the list of passers in the 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺 is Pisay-BRC alumna, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗼.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Jao got an 86.20 percentile rating for the exam.

Jao earned her degree in Chemical Engineering, 𝘤𝘶𝘮 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘦, from the University of the Philippines-Diliman.

PRC announced that 585 out of 1,032 passed the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Chemical Engineering.

REPOSTING FROM PSHS-BRC: Of the 1,084 examinees who passed the Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) this month, three (3) are alumnae of Pisay-BRC.

Leading the pack is Jan Camille Lorenzana Ozaeta, MD of batch 2014. Dr. Ozaeta , an alumna of De La Salle Medical & Health Sciences Institute,notched the eight (8th) place in the Top 10 with an average of 86.33 %.

Vanessa Gail Lanuzo Borja, MD (batch 2011) and Krishalinda Mae R. Flores, MD (batch 2009), who are both graduates of Bicol University College of Medicine, also hurdled the September 2021 PLE.
