ParSU Microbiology Testing Laboratory The ParSU MTL aims to strengthen the capability of institutions to undertake research in S&T fields.

The PARSU Microbiology Testing Laboratory is established through the support of the DOST-PCIEERD Infrastructure Development Program (IDP). It aims to strengthen the capability of institutions to undertake research in Science and Technology fields included in PCIEERD priority areas. It also provides support for equipment acquisition and upgrading of laboratory resources.

This collaboration allowed the corporation to demonstrate and thoroughly discuss their advanced equipment, the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐱𝐰𝐞π₯π₯, which is capable of extracting and purifying high-quality DNA and RNA from a wide variety of biological samples, processing up to 16 samples in a single run. This state-of-the-art equipment significantly lessens the burden of the entire DNA extraction step and even features a self-sterilization function. During the demonstration, participants actively engaged by asking questions about the equipment's operation, workflow, and maintenance which is crucial in understanding the equipment.
