Anchored on the national theme, “𝑾𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒚” and the sub-theme “𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒚𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒔, 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒔!”, emphasizes the role of women in shaping a progressive and inclusive future.

"Social Studies Integrated Bureau of Learners (SSIBOL) from the College of Education (CED) received the Outstanding University Student Organization of the Year for the second time...."

| 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒: 682 academic, non-academic awardees honored in stude recognition rites

A total of 682 academic and non-academic awardees were honored during the Student Recognition Rites 2026 held at the university gymnasium today, March 3.

Five hundred nineteen students received academic distinction as President’s Listers, while 163 students received non-academic awards for their achievements in athletics, performing arts, campus journalism, and leadership.

Among the major awardees, Ralph Reagan D. Gaor, a bronze medalist in karatedo at the 2025 National SCUAA held in Camiguin, was named University Athlete of the Year, while Lance P. Fernandez, president of ParSU Performing Arts, was recognized as the Outstanding Cultural Performer of the Year.

Jhonel B. Bravante, a senior Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science, was named Outstanding University Student of the Year.

Moreover, Social Studies Integrated Bureau of Learners (SSIBOL) from the College of Education (CED) received the Outstanding University Student Organization of the Year for the second time, while the college’s Student Council earned the Outstanding University Student Council of the Year for the fifth consecutive year.
