Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms: it is about understanding.
Congratulations to the learners of EMMNHS for their proud participation in the Glan Municipal Mathematics Olympics 2025 held at Leonard Young Sr. National High School. Our students showed great enthusiasm and skill in various events: in the Individual Quiz, Heart Jill Mongkil gave a strong performance; Princess Devine Dalungdong tackled the Sudoku challenge with determination. The Team Quiz was represented by Jebrick Dick Palapan, Edmard James Mantua, and Donna Vee Aranton, who worked hard as a group. In Damath, Dominicha Key Aranton earned an impressive 2nd place, supported by Ghealyn Jane Palapan.
A big thank you to our dedicated coaches, Irene May Singcala and Jay Ismael Macadaag, along with our Math Coordinator Kenneth George Fernandez for their guidance. We also deeply appreciate School Head Sir Arthur B. Besana for his support and financial assistance that made our participation possible.
Though we did not win this time, every challenge is a step forward. Let this experience fuel our passion and commitment to improve and excel. Remember, true success comes from effort, learning, and resilience. Onwards and upwards, EMMNHS!

The Elena M. Mipaña National High School proudly took part in the Glan 4 District Science and Technology Fair 2025, showcasing strong participation in various categories. Representing the school were Princess Anna Lubiano in the Key Stage 3 Spelling Bee, Princess Devine Dalungdong in the Key Stage 4 Spelling Bee, Lorelyn Pleños for the Key Stage 3 Quiz Bee, and Melvin Makarunggala for the Key Stage 4 Quiz Bee. These students demonstrated dedication and enthusiasm, supported by their coaches Kenneth George Fernandez, Irene May Singcala, and Jerelyn Atillo, whose guidance was invaluable throughout the competition.
Our heartfelt thanks go to our school science coordinator, Josee Bobby Paghubasan, for overseeing the preparations, and to our principal, Arthur B. Besana, for the budget and support that made our participation possible.
While we did not take home prizes this time, the experience itself is a victory, embodying the spirit of learning and growth. As Thomas Edison once said, "There is no substitute for hard work," and our students have exemplified this through their commitment and passion.
