School-Based SNED Orientation and Fun Day Activity
The School-Based SNED Orientation and Fun Day Activity was successfully conducted on August 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM, with the participation of SNED learners, their parents, and teachers. The activity aimed to promote awareness, understanding, inclusion, and support for learners with special needs.
The activity was spearheaded by Mrs. Sheilah Narvasa, SNED Coordinator, and was graced by PSDS Leah Tacandong and EPS Elvira Almonte.
The school was honored to have Ma. Nova Jomevelle Cagas-Cerdiña, RSW, Disability Affairs Officer II and PADAO Focal Person, as the resource speaker. She shared valuable insights on disability awareness, the rights and needs of persons with disabilities, and the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive environment for every learner.
Following the orientation, fun and interactive games were conducted for the SNED learners and their parents, facilitated with the support of the teachers. The activities brought joy and excitement to the participants while promoting family bonding, friendship, participation, and confidence among the learners.
The activity was a meaningful gathering that highlighted the importance of inclusion, acceptance, family involvement, and collective support in helping every learner reach their full potential.
