Yesterday, January 14, 2025, at 8:00 AM, the ASL Gymnasium became the heart of an unforgettable event—The 2nd Pinning & Send-Off Ceremony themed "Advancing Careers through Empowering Professional Development". This milestone celebration brought together 235 fourth-year students preparing for their internships, marking a pivotal step in their journey toward professional growth and success.
The ceremony was a blend of inspiration and purpose as students proudly received their pins in the morning, symbolizing their readiness for the challenges ahead. The momentum continued into the afternoon with a Mock Job Interview session expertly facilitated by the Economics Program's instructors, giving students a taste of real-world professional experiences.
Esteemed guests added prestige to the occasion, including City Mayor Eric G. Cañosa, College President Sheri Love M. Aguiman, PhD, RGC, Keynote Speaker Geraldine I. San Luis, Program Head Mark Anthony A. Catiil, DPA-CAR, Vice President for Academics Myrna Cezar, PhD, Guidance Coordinator Ma. Angelica Baldago, RPm, and Director of DSAS Joan C. Tirariray. The event also welcomed the College Librarian, dedicated faculty members, college staff, supportive parents, and friends, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and celebration.
The program was skillfully hosted by Sir Nikki T. Lungay, MAEd, with technical assistance from Sir Eric Mato and Sir Edsel Fabre.
Special thanks to Roenz Place & Restaurant, Junior Economics Society (JES), SSC Officers, OSAS, Erl L Sanchez and Gilbert for their invaluable support in making this event a resounding success!
