In compliance with the DepEd Memorandum from the Office of the Secretary dated August 12, 2026, Gerona North Central Elementary School will conduct a Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents on August 25, 2026 (Tuesday) at 9:00 AM.
This activity aims to strengthen school preparedness, response protocols, and emergency awareness based on our localized School Contingency Plan to ensure a safe, secure, and resilient learning environment for all learners and school personnel.
We request the full cooperation of learners, teachers, staff, and parents during the conduct of this drill.

Despite the successive suspension of face-to-face classes and the shift to Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM), the delivery of the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) for our learners at GNCES continues.
Because learning and nourishment go hand in hand, we remain committed to ensuring that our learners receive the food and support they need—even while learning at home. Together, we continue to care, nourish, and ensure that no learner is left behind.

August 20, 2026 | 4th Day of Learning Continuity
Gerona North Central ES
Today marks the 4th day of no face-to-face classes at GNCES. Despite the suspension, learning continues as we implement synchronous online classes and modular (asynchronous) learning modalities to ensure that our learners remain engaged in their studies.
We continue to pray for good weather and safer days ahead, so that our classes may soon return to normal.
While we are grateful for the available alternative learning modalities, we firmly believe that face-to-face learning remains the best form of learning—where meaningful interaction, collaboration, guidance, and connection between and among teachers and learners naturally take place.
🙏 Praying for better weather and the safe return of our learners to school.

Gerona North Central Elementary School (GNCES) continues to implement the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) this August 19, 2026, due to adverse weather conditions and the suspension of face-to-face classes.
Despite the challenges brought about by the weather, learning continues! 📚💙
Our teachers remain committed to guiding learners, in partnership with parents, to ensure that education remains uninterrupted. Together, let us uphold learning continuity and make sure that no child is left behind.

Alinsunod sa 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟐𝟗 ng Office of the President, ang face-to-face classes sa Lahat ng Antas sa Bayan ng Gerona ay SUSPENDIDO sa 𝐌𝐢𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐤𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟵, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟲, dahil sa patuloy na epekto ng Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
Ang mga klase ay ililipat sa Modular o iba pang Alternative Learning Modalities, alinsunod sa mga panuntunan ng Department of Education (DepEd).
Para naman sa mga kawani ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Gerona, ipatutupad ang work-from-home o alternative work arrangements, maliban sa mga frontline at essential services na magpapatuloy sa kanilang tungkulin.
Manatiling ligtas, maging mapagmatyag, at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo.
Kaligtasan ng bawat isa ang ating pangunahing prayoridad.

At GNCES, learning continues despite and in spite of the cancellation of face-to-face classes. 📚Because learning should never stop!
Through the collective efforts of our teachers, parents, and learners, we continue to provide meaningful learning experiences even at home.
No face-to-face classes does not mean no learning.
Learning continues. GNCES moves forward! 💪📖

PAALALA SA ATING MGA MAGULANG: SAFETY AT LEARNING, PAREHO NATING RESPONSIBILIDAD
Good evening po sa ating lahat. Wala na naman po tayong face-to-face classes bukas—na marahil ay palaging inaabangan ng marami. 😊
Nakakapanghinayang po ang bawat araw na walang face-to-face learning para sa ating mga bata. Kaya habang sila ay nasa bahay, malaki po ang papel ng mga magulang sa kanilang learning, monitoring, at guidance. Patuloy po nating gabayan at hikayatin ang ating mga anak na mag-aral kahit wala sila sa paaralan.
Sa panig po namin bilang mga g**o at school personnel, patuloy pa rin ang aming pagtatrabaho at paghahanda para sa learning continuity. Ngunit sa totoo lang, ang higit na nawawalan sa bawat araw na walang learning opportunity ay ang ating mga anak. Kaya sana po ay sama-sama nating bigyang-halaga ang kanilang pagkatuto.
Nauunawaan po namin na SAFETY FIRST. Kaligtasan ng ating mga learners at ng lahat ay napakahalaga. Ngunit tag-ulan po talaga at may mga pagkakataong kinakailangang isaalang-alang ang panahon at iba pang kondisyon bago magkaroon ng desisyon tungkol sa pagpasok.
Magtutulungan tayo—paaralan, magulang, at komunidad—upang matiyak na ligtas ang ating mga anak kasabay na sila ay natututo!
Kapag nasa bahay po sila, kayo po ang kanilang unang g**o. Samahan natin sila sa pagbabasa, pagsusulat, pagre-review, pagsagot sa kanilang mga gawain, at higit sa lahat, hikayatin silang patuloy na matuto.
Safety and learning can and must go together. 🤝
Kaya po, mga mahal naming magulang, sama-sama po tayo. Tulungan nating mapanatili ang learning continuity ng ating mga anak kahit wala sila sa paaralan.
Para sa ating mga anak—ligtas, patuloy na natututo, at patuloy na umuunlad. ❤️📚
Maraming salamat po sa inyong pang-unawa, pakikiisa, at patuloy na suporta.
