• “Know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.”

- This implies that good actions are whatever we can do to uphold God's law. This text makes it quite obvious that we cannot earn God's favor by just carrying out good deeds. God would not have had to send Jesus to earth to atone for our sins if we could all just "do good."
