LPU Cavite Undergoes Stage 1 Audit for ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS)

Cavite, Philippines — In a significant milestone for LPU Cavite, the institution underwent a Stage 1 audit for the ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS). The audit, led by the highly regarded SGS Philippines auditor, Ms. Gemma Jimenea, took place today, September 7, 2023.

ISO 21001:2018 is an internationally recognized standard that sets out the requirements for an Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS). This standard aims to enhance the satisfaction of learners, educators, and other beneficiaries through the effective application of EOMS, which encompasses the processes, policies, and procedures used to plan, develop, implement, and continually improve the organization's educational services.

Dr. Maria Teresa O. Pilapil, the Vice President for Administration of LPU Cavite, expressed her elation over the successful Stage 1 Audit. She stated, "This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire LPU Cavite community. It reflects our unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality education and continuously improving our educational processes."

The Stage 1 Audit marks the initial step in the ISO 21001:2018 certification process. It focuses on the evaluation of the organization's readiness to proceed with the full implementation of the EOMS. Following this successful Stage 1 Audit, LPU Cavite will move forward to Stage 2, which involves a more comprehensive assessment of the institution's EOMS practices.
