National Service Training Program - LPU Cavite NSTP

𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗟𝘆𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀! 🌿

LPU Cavite announces an 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 from October 27 to 29, 2025 (no classes, offices are open), followed by a long weekend from October 30 to November 2, 2025 (no classes and office work).

Regular classes and office operations will resume on November 3, 2025.

Use this time to rest, recharge, and come back stronger!

NSTP Implementer Mr. Archie Arranguez Attends International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2025

Mr. Archie Arranguez, representing the NSTP Unit of LPU Cavite, attended the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2025 with the theme “Fund Resilience, Not Disaster.” The event was held on October 13, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. It was organized through the collaboration of the Office of Civil Defense, ARISE Philippines, UNDRR, and SM Prime Holdings, highlighting a timely and relevant topic in today’s Philippine society.

Exhibition booths, a youth resilience relay, and a T-bandage design competition were also conducted during the event. Emergency units from the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Office and the Bureau of Fire Protection demonstrated earthquake rescue techniques and discussed the importance of having a “go-bag.”

The event encouraged participants to invest in long-term resilience rather than rely on short-term, band-aid solutions.

A coordination meeting for the Urban Garden Project with the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Manggahan Chapter was held on October 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at LPU Cavite. The meeting served as a venue to review accomplishments, discuss progress, and outline next steps for the project’s extended collaboration between LPU Cavite and PYAP Manggahan.

During the session, Mr. Jojie delos Reyes of PYAP Manggahan Chapter presented the documentation report and insights from the previous garden initiative. Dr. Fedelyn Estrella, Director of the Community Outreach and Service-Learning (CSL) Office, shared the proposed plans and directions for sustaining and expanding the partnership, while Mr. Keneth Talamayan from the College of Business Administration (CBA) discussed the livelihood aspects to ensure long-term community benefit.

Each collaborator also pledged to implement several activities in the coming months to ensure the sustainability and continuous development of the Urban Garden Project in Barangay Manggahan. It is indeed a collaborative initiative of the CSL Office, College of Business Administration (CBA) Student Government, National Service and Training Program (NSTP) Department, Center for Student Affairs (CSA), LYCESGO, and the SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) Committees of LPU Cavite, in partnership with the PYAP Manggahan Chapter. The project continues to promote sustainability, inclusivity, and community engagement through urban agriculture and active student involvement.

𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆

In line with the advisory of Cavite Governor Abeng Remulla, there will be no face-to-face classes from October 15 to 18, 2025, at all levels. This suspension supports the province-wide Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) surveillance and preparedness efforts for “The Big One.”

During this period, classes will be held synchronously online to ensure the continuity of learning. Furthermore, please be advised that midterm examinations will be moved to November 3 to 8, 2025.

Our offices will remain open to accommodate transactions.

Promoting Awareness for a Safer Community! 🚨

The PNPDEG Drug Awareness Program and Lecture was successfully conducted today, August 27, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 NN at The Forum, COECSA Building, LPU Cavite.

In collaboration with the Center for Student and Cultural Affairs (CSA), National Service Training Program - LPU Cavite NSTP, and the Human Resource Department, the session featured insightful discussions on:

🔹 Unlawful Acts of RA 9165 – Pat Armando A. Verzola Jr.
🔹 Drug-Related Operations and Intelligence Insights – Pat Jerrick E. Matta
