📖 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒀𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝑻𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒅, 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑻𝒐 𝑯𝒊𝒎. 🤍✨

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒘 11:28

What if rest isn't always about stopping? What if sometimes, it's about knowing where to go when you're tired?

We all have days when school, responsibilities, problems, and everything else start to feel like too much. Sometimes, we keep everything to ourselves because we think we have to handle it alone.

But Jesus says, “Come to Me.” Not “figure everything out first.” Not “carry it all by yourself.” Just come.

Whatever is weighing on your heart today, you can bring it to Him. You don't have to be strong every moment.🤍🙏

🤲 His help is everlasting.

فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانتَصِرْ

"Fa-da-‘a rabbahu annee maghloobun fa-intasir."

"So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help."
- Surah Al-Qasr | Verse 10

The verse above came from Prophet Nuh, peace be upon him, after he was overwhelmed by his people and the responsibility Allah has given him which is to manage the remaining survivors of his great flood. And just like the prophet himself, we have to call upon Allah as well in times of distress.

One may see himself in the shoes of Prophet Nuh, peace be upon him, as he is navigating his ship or in one's case, his life, throughout the massive waters of life. We get overwhelmed, we get overpowered, and we feel unable to commit to our duties.

But fret not, for Allah is ever-sufficient and kind. Call upon him for your prayers and he will help you overcome great odds. Remember, the challenges we face weren't there to give us mere pain, they were there to push us forward and to make us stronger as Allah intended.

Whatever issues you may face, may it be at home, school, completions, and life in general, do not think you are truly overpowered, for none is more overpowered than Allah.

As the school nears it's participation as well in these coming contests of wits and ability, may it's participants remember that the feeling they might experience can be beaten by the grace of Allah.

May everyone win their battles, succeed in their endeavors, become skilled at their paths, and accomplish the impossible, if Allah wills. Ameen.

Their stories remind us that freedom and opportunities are made possible by the sacrifices of those who come before us, and that these sacrifices should be honored by us young Filipinos by serving others and the community we live and work in.

‎Every journey has its doubts, its fatigue and its uncertainty. There will be times when lessons seem difficult, tasks challenging, and results may not come as quickly as we hope. But these moments are not reasons to stop but rather opportunities to strengthen our patience and faith.
‎
‎As students, we are reminded that knowledge is not enough to achieve success. It requires effort, patience, discipline and tawakkul (complete trust in Allah). We do our part by studying, preparing and doing our best, while trusting Allah for the rest.
‎
‎Remember that during hard times you are not supposed to be perfect at everything. What matters is that you keep moving forward and ask Allah for guidance along the way.
‎
‎So do what is good for you, ask Allah for His help and do not let difficulties make you give up. Allah sees all the good you do, even those that no one else sees.
‎
‎May Allah grant us beneficial knowledge, make our efforts easy for us and strengthen our hearts. Ameen. 🤲🏻

The City Government General Trias Successfully gathered youth leaders for the Kapehan ng Pag-Asan Year 3: Brewing Hope, Inspiring Young Gentriseños to have Drug-Free, Safe, and Inclusive Schools held today August 27, 2026 at the Dencito Campaña Hall (AVR), 3F City Hall of General Trias. This activity gives young Gentriseños to listend and share their ideas about staying away from drugs, keeping the safety of the schools, and helping everyone in the community. Held by & In Partnership with City Government of GenTri, DILG (Department of Interior and Local Government), CADAC (City Anti-Drug Abuse Council), and BIDA (Buhay Ingatan, Droga'y ayawan).

Together let us build a safer, stronger, and a drug-free community!

📖Time to grow our minds.

رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

Rabbi zidni ilma

"MY LORD, INCREASE ME IN KNOWLEDGE."

- Surah Taha: Chapter 20, Verse 114

As the school week approaches, it seems as if the skies are finally clear for students to soar into their classrooms after weeks of suspensions caused by bad weather. But as the storm clears, it seems as if a new one arrives. It arrives in the form of the term end examinations.

Due to the suspensions, learning was stunted and it led to the loss of active educational progress. Some might have lost their only access to education, some might have been absorbed by other duties, and some might have lost the motivation. Because of this, fear and paranoia might have creep into the hearts of students, doubting their skills in the upcoming exams. But remember, Allah (God) UNDERSTANDS and BELIEVES in our capabilities.

In the Qur'an lies these words, for they are aids of the human mind in times of great distress. This is a reminder to us all that with will, dedication, and faith in Allah, knowledge will be ours to claim.

So fear not the inevitable, for with Allah, so is your success. May we all pass these upcoming challenges, and remember to have faith through your studying. Ameen.

🇵🇭 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲

Every year on August 21, Ninoy Aquino Day is celebrated in honor of the life and sacrifice of Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino Jr. He was a senator and one of the well-known voices who stood against the Marcos government during Martial Law. Despite facing imprisonment and years of exile, he continued to speak about his hopes for a free and democratic Philippines.

As young Filipinos, may we take time to learn from his story and understand the value of courage, freedom, and responsibility. May we also remember that knowing our history helps us better appreciate the freedoms we have today.

IN PHOTOS: The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), along with the TV High Administration led by our Principal, Dr. Naneth P. Salvador held a belated Birthday Celebration for General Trias City Vice Mayor Hon. Jonas Glyn P. Labuguen through a lively event, on August 20, 2026.

The celebration was attended by Mrs. Loriesa P. Labuguen, Kapitana Lourdes Tapawan, Hon. Dennis Magsino, Ma’am Annie C. Maraan, EPS-SNED, Ma’am Arlene M. Hernandez, PSDS Cluster 9, Dr. Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, CESO VI, SDS of General Trias City, together with our dear SNED learners.

The event consisted of speeches from the speakers, starting from Vice Mayor Labuguen, followed by SSLG President Resnan Jade Teves, and lastly, Dr. Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, CESO VI, SDS of General Trias City. Most importantly, gifts were given to all attendees, especially our SNED learners.

The celebration was not just a simple party thrown for the comfort of Vice Mayor Labuguen. Instead, it was used as a platform to further help his constituents who need it and to administer more relief. It exemplified the Vice Mayor's true ambition of giving Gentriseño students, especially SNED, a great education and livelihood.

We are truly grateful for the wonderful morning that he and his team, along with the school allowed us to experience. It was not just a simple birthday, for it also furthered our understanding of true leadership and help. Once again, a belated Happy Birthday to you, Hon. Vice Mayor Jonas Glyn P. Labuguen, and may more birthdays come ahead of you.
