The Lyceum of the Philippines University–Cavite recently hosted an inspiring Internship Planning event under the dynamic theme "F.U.T.U.R.E. Ready: Aligning Academia with Industry Dynamics". Kicking off the session, Dr. Mark Irvin C. Celis, Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered a motivational message, setting the tone for an engaging day. Ms. Rosanna Margarita Laurel-De Dios, Director of the Business Development Office (BDO) and Industry Relations, followed with a compelling presentation highlighting LPUC's innovative approach to industry-oriented education.

This gathering was more than just a meeting; it was a strategic initiative to seamlessly connect academic learning with the evolving needs of the workforce. A standout moment was the presentation of Internship Coordinator Reports from various academic units, including CAMS, CBA, CCS, CEA, CFAD, CLAE, CITHM, CON, and IS.

After a productive morning and a well-deserved lunch break, the afternoon sessions dove deeper into enhancing experiential learning policies and fostering stronger partnerships between the university and industry leaders, ensuring that our internship processes are as effective as possible.

FoodSHAP Certification Schedule

The FoodSHAP Certification Examination is scheduled on March 23–27, 2026.

All interns are encouraged to comply with the preparations prior to this date, as the certification is mandatory for internship deployment.
