ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Dahil sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan at sa umiiral na weather conditions sa Cavite, ipinapaalam na SUSPENDIDO ANG KLASE SA LAHAT NG ANTAS (ALL LEVELS) sa public at private schools sa buong lalawigan ng Cavite.

SALAMAT, SCHOOL MOOE

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa ating School MOOE para sa mga teachers’ at classroom supplies ngayong buwan ng Agosto.

Malaking tulong ang mga kagamitang ito upang masuportahan ang ating mga g**o sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na gawain at mapanatiling maayos ang ating mga silid-aralan.

Sa bawat kagamitang ipinagkakaloob, mas napapalakas ang ating paaralan at mas napapabuti ang learning environment para sa ating mga Westians.

Salamat, School MOOE, para sa Bagong Camera

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa ating School MOOE sa pagkakaloob ng camera na gagamitin sa mahahalagang school events at journalism contests ng ating mga campus journalists.

Malaking tulong ito sa paglinang ng kanilang kasanayan sa photojournalism, dokumentasyon, at campus journalism. Sa pamamagitan ng kagamitang ito, mas mabibigyan ng pagkakataon ang ating mga batang mamamahayag na mahasa ang kanilang talento at maipakita ang mahahalagang kuwento ng ating paaralan.

Para sa mas mahusay na pamamahayag, dokumentasyon, at paghubog sa mga batang mamamahayag ng PK II West ES.

Isang hakbang tungo sa mas malusog at mas handang pagkatuto

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa SDO General Trias sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa mga ARAL Learners sa pamamagitan ng pamamahagi ng Alaska Milk.

Ang simpleng regalong ito ay malaking tulong upang masuportahan ang kalusugan, nutrisyon, at pagkatuto ng ating mga mag-aaral habang sila ay nagsisikap na maabot ang kanilang mga pangarap.

Sa bawat baso ng gatas, mas pinapalakas natin ang katawan, isip, at pag-asa ng bawat batang mag-aaral.

Maraming salamat, SDO General Trias, sa malasakit at suporta para sa ating mga ARAL Learners.

Pasong Kawayan II West Elementary School remains generally safe and stable amid the presence of Low Pressure Area (LPA 08f) and continuous rainfall.

As of the latest monitoring:
✅ No evacuees reported
✅ No flooding within the school premises
⚠️ One classroom sustained minor damage due to roof leakage caused by continuous rainfall.

The school continues to closely monitor the weather situation and prioritize the safety and well-being of all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel.

Everyone is reminded to remain vigilant and follow official advisories from DOST-PAGASA and DepEd.
