Focus on progress, not perfection. The board exam rewards clarity more than cramming.
Don’t get trapped in the mindset that you must know every single thing perfectly. What truly matters is consistent improvement and deep understanding of the concepts. The board exam isn’t about memorizing mountains of facts at the last minute. It is about thinking clearly under pressure. Every focused study session, every practice test, and every clarified topic is a step forward. Aim to be better than you were yesterday, not flawless.
Remember: a mind that understands will always outperform a mind that just crammed.

🎉 Time to announce the winners of the Question of the Day! 🧠✨
The most consistent diagnosis with Jennifer’s symptoms is:
🅱️. Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Jennifer is experiencing:
🧠 Intrusive memories – unwanted, distressing recollections of the trauma
😴 Nightmares – trauma-related dreams
⚡ Heightened arousal – possibly hypervigilance, startle response, or irritability
📆 Timing – symptoms have persisted for over a year since the car accident
❌ Why not the other options?
🔹 a. Acute Stress Disorder – Only occurs within 3 days to 1 month after trauma. Jennifer’s symptoms lasted over a year.
🔹 c. Adjustment Disorder – Involves a less severe stressor and doesn’t meet full PTSD criteria. Time-limited to 6 months after the stressor ends.
🔹 d. Dissociative Identity Disorder – Involves two or more distinct identities and severe dissociation, which are not present in Jennifer’s case.

🧠💡 Think you’re being productive by multitasking? Think again.
Studies reveal that multitasking actually lowers cognitive performance.
Many people believe that multitasking helps them get more done in less time. But science tells a different story. Studies in cognitive psychology show that our brains are not designed to handle multiple tasks at once—especially when those tasks require attention, decision-making, or learning.
🧠 What really happens when you multitask?
Your brain switches rapidly between tasks, instead of doing them simultaneously.
This “task-switching” slows you down, increases mental fatigue, and leads to more errors.
You lose focus, reduce your ability to retain information, and decrease your overall cognitive performance.
✅ What’s more effective?
Focusing on one task at a time—called monotasking—has been shown to:
Boost memory and retention
Improve accuracy and comprehension
Enhance your ability to stay in deep focus (a.k.a. flow state)
✅ Stay sharp. ✅ Focus on one task at a time. ✅ Retain more.

DID YOU KNOW?
💧 The Brain is ~75–80% Water
The human brain is composed of approximately 75–80% water, making hydration crucial to its functioning. Water plays several vital roles in the brain:
Regulates temperature
Cushions the brain and spinal cord
Aids in delivering nutrients and removing waste
Supports neurotransmitter function
Maintains electrical activity and brain signaling
🚱 What Happens When You're Dehydrated?
Even mild dehydration (just 1–2% loss of body water) can impair brain function. Here's how:
1. Mood Changes
- Studies have shown that dehydration can lead to increased feelings of anxiety, tension, fatigue, and irritability.
- People who are dehydrated are more likely to report feeling “down” or less alert.
2. Decreased Attention and Focus
- Water is essential for maintaining concentration and alertness.
- Dehydration slows down communication between neurons, making it harder to stay focused or think clearly.
3. Memory Impairment
- Short-term memory, particularly working memory (used for tasks like mental math or remembering a phone number), declines with dehydration.
4. Reduced Cognitive Performance
- Tasks that require complex problem-solving, coordination, or fine motor skills become harder when you're not well hydrated.
5. Headaches and Brain Fog
- Dehydration can lead to headaches and a general sense of “brain fog,” making it difficult to process information or make decisions.

Doubt kills more than failure ever will.
- Suzy Kassem
Doubt is often more destructive than failure, because it kills the dream in its earliest stage — before it even has a chance to live. Although, dreams can only live with action, otherwise they are only fantasies.
