Faculty members from the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) of LPU Cavite were recognized during the Research Excellence Awards 2026 for their successful publication of research papers in internationally indexed Scopus journals, further strengthening the collegeโs commitment to research excellence and global academic engagement.
The recognition was awarded by the Center for Research and Development headed by Ms. Kimberly Joy Alcaraz during the culmination program of the LPU Cavite Research Week held last May 15, 2026. The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA) โ Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite Chapter successfully organized DIALOGO+, an architectural symposium themed โAdvancing Green Thinking in Architecture and Design,โ held on May 13, 2026 at the LPU Cavite University Auditorium.
The symposium gathered architecture students, faculty members, and aspiring design professionals for a meaningful exchange of ideas on sustainability, resilient construction, and environmentally responsible architecture. Anchored on the growing global demand for sustainable development, the event highlighted the vital role of architects in shaping greener and smarter communities.

CEA Aeronautical Engineering students recently conducted an engaging introduction to drone technology for Senior High School (SHS) students, showcasing the growing role of unmanned aerial systems in modern aviation and engineering.
The activity aimed to spark interest among SHS students in the field of Aeronautical Engineering by providing them with hands-on exposure to drone operations, applications, and emerging aerospace technologies. During the session, Aeronautical Engineering students discussed the fundamentals of drone flight, basic aerodynamics, safety protocols, and the various real-world applications of drones in industries such as aerial mapping, agriculture, surveillance, logistics, disaster response, and environmental monitoring.
The interactive demonstration allowed SHS students to witness actual drone flight operations and understand how technology and innovation are transforming the future of aviation. The event also highlighted the importance of engineering, creativity, and problem-solving in developing modern aerospace solutions.
