This week, Panungyanan Elementary School officially started its School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP). This heartfelt initiative aims to boost learner attendance, encourage school participation, and improve students' nutritional health. By providing adequate nourishment, the program supports children's growth and development, strengthens their immune systems, and helps build positive health and nutrition habits for life.
As part of the program, the school now serves hot soup and nutritious meals to SBFP beneficiaries. This ensures these young learners receive the care and nourishment they need to thrive and grow.
Today, Dr. Mary Grace E. Javier, Medical Officer III from the Division Health Unit, visited the school to supervise and monitor the SBFP implementation. Her presence and support reinforced the school's commitment to creating a healthier, more caring learning environment for every child.
