Today, we commemorate the 128th anniversary of the Philippine Independence — a celebration of our nation's enduring freedom and the bravery of those who made it possible.

The sacrifices of our heroes remind us that freedom is not only a gift, but a responsibility we carry into the future. As we raise the Philippine flag high, may we be inspired to live with patriotism, unity, and hope. Let this day inspire us to be heroes in our own ways — through service, compassion, and unity.

Mabuhay ang Kalayaan! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!

Today, we honor the boundless love and mercy of our Lord as we celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus—a powerful reminder of Christ’s infinite compassion, forgiveness, and self-giving love for all humanity.

May our hearts be transformed to reflect His humility, kindness, and love.
Let us continue to seek refuge in His Sacred Heart, where we find peace, healing, and hope.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! 🙏❤️

𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬 | The 2026 DICES Personnel Assembly and Mass of the Holy Spirit officially commenced with a prayer, the singing of the National Anthem, and the recitation of the DICES Vision and Mission Statement.

Rev. Fr. Alain P. Manalo, Superintendent of Diocesan Schools, warmly welcomed all Gurong DICES to the Parish of the Holy Family and to this year’s DICES Assembly, highlighting the celebration of the Mass of the Holy Spirit as a moment to seek God’s guidance and blessings for the new school year.

In his opening message, Fr. Alain reflected on the mission of Catholic educators—to promote personal wholeness, communion, social transformation, and excellence. He emphasized two important dimensions of excellence: collaboration, recognizing that we achieve more when we work together, and continuity, ensuring that the mission of Catholic education is faithfully sustained and strengthened through the years.

He challenged Gurong DICES to continually grow as educators and to inspire growth in one another.

Fr. Alain also encouraged everyone to ask the Lord for the particular gift of the Holy Spirit they need in order to serve more effectively and persevere in their vocation and mission.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗼𝘄: Team Leaders and officers of the DICES member schools under the Mission Team and the Administrative Support Team are gathered at Saint Jude Parish School for a day of learning, collaboration, and strategic planning as part of the DICES Service Teams In-Service Training.

The day opened with a plenary session on the DICES Supervisory Program, where participants gained a deeper appreciation of its role in guiding the effective implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of programs and services across the DICES network. Discussions highlighted how Supervisory Programs help schools remain focused on their goals while ensuring accountability, quality, and mission effectiveness in every area of operation.

Following the plenary session, participants proceeded to their respective breakout sessions to engage in meaningful discussions on the realities, challenges, priorities, and opportunities within their specific offices and service areas. These sessions provide a valuable space for sharing experiences, identifying concerns, exchanging best practices, and developing plans that will further strengthen the delivery of services in School Year 2026–2027.

Members of the Mission Team, particularly those involved in Student Activities, Formation and Well-Being, Guidance Services, Safeguarding, Character Formation, and Christian Formation, are working together to strengthen programs that nurture the holistic growth of learners and deepen the Catholic identity and evangelizing mission of DICES schools.

At the same time, Human Resource Officers, School Registrars, Communications Officers, Finance Officers, and Legal Affairs Coordinators are collaborating on initiatives that promote efficient systems, responsive services, sound governance, and effective institutional support for their respective school communities.

More than a professional development activity, this gathering serves as an opportunity for DICES personnel to learn from one another, strengthen partnerships, and renew their shared commitment to providing excellent, mission-driven service in support of Catholic education.
