Need some fun listening activities for kids, to use at home or in class?
Listening is one of the most important skills you can teach your child. Although it is often overlooked, it is actually easy to develop with simple games and activities.

Last Friday, our second-day reading program was held. Another child has been added and she is so adorable. Our story for that day was "Si Bass ang Mapagmataas na Baso". Through our story, we taught the children that being prideful will not bring any good to anyone, and they gladly agreed.

We started our reading program last Thursday and it was fun! The kids are still shy with us during that time but they are listening attentively. We also introduce Mimi to them and they love her.

Child opinion matters. They should be free to express their views and voice their thoughts. This helps to build their confidence while developing their trust when they speak up and are heard. They should not be restricted from sharing their thoughts unless it is inappropriate or offensive.
They have a voice too, and we shouldn't neglect it. Avoiding their questions, getting mad at them, or lying to them affects not only the relationship between the parents and the child but also the confidence and the courage to speak and express the child's mind to others, especially with their parents.
