📢 FIRST HPTA CONFERENCE AND PARENTS’ ORIENTATION 2026

June 10, 2026 | LPBNHS Gymnasium

Parents of LPBNHS students actively participated in the First Homeroom Parents-Teachers Association (HPTA) Conference and General Parents’ Orientation held at the LPBNHS Gymnasium.

The activity started with classroom-based HPTA conferences where parents met with their respective class advisers to discuss important concerns, programs, and updates regarding the welfare and academic progress of their children.

After the classroom meetings, parents proceeded to the gymnasium for the General Parents’ Orientation on school policies, programs, and regulations for School Year 2026–2027.

The program formally opened with a welcome message from our newly installed School Principal IV, Mrs. Wilma F. Ramos, who warmly welcomed the parents and expressed her commitment to fostering a happy, safe, and learner-centered school environment. As a gesture of appreciation, she also awarded cash prizes to parents who arrived early.

The introduction of faculty members, staff, and school personnel was facilitated by Mr. Florante A. Mangilin, Head Teacher III, allowing parents to become more familiar with the individuals who will guide and support their children throughout the school year.

Important school rules and regulations were discussed by Mrs. Myra B. Viernes, Master Teacher I. Topics included student discipline, the implementation of the new school uniform, guidance services and procedures, and other school policies that promote a safe and orderly learning environment.

Parents were also oriented on the Revised K to 10 Curriculum, the implementation of the three-term academic calendar, and the new grading system to help them better understand the educational changes and support their children’s learning journey.

Representing the School Governing Council (SGC), Hon. Hamilton Hamor delivered a response message emphasizing the vital roles and responsibilities of parents as partners in education. He also announced the organized parking system to be implemented in front of the school through proper coordination with the lot owner, ensuring safety and convenience for all stakeholders.

One of the highlights of the event was the presence of Cusina ni Mayor Sherry, a mobile kitchen initiative personally spearheaded by Mayor Sherry, which aims to provide free breakfast, lunch, and merienda to communities throughout General Tinio and to all Papayanos. The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Sherry for this meaningful program and unwavering support to education.

Adding color and entertainment to the gathering was a special dance presentation by the faculty and staff, which was warmly appreciated by the parents.

The open forum was facilitated by Mrs. Jennifer Bulawit, Master Teacher II, where parents were given the opportunity to raise questions and concerns. One of the key concerns discussed was the conduct of earthquake drills. In response, DRRM Coordinator Mrs. Divine Garcia informed the assembly that a symposium and earthquake drill program have already been scheduled for next week in coordination with the appropriate authorities from the Local Government Unit.

The successful conduct of the First HPTA Conference and Parents’ Orientation reflects the strong partnership between the school and parents in ensuring quality education, student safety, and holistic development for every Bernardian learner.

📢 SYMPOSIUM ON ANTI-BULLYING
(For Senior High School Students – Grades 11 & 12)

June 8, 2026 | 1:00 PM
LPBNHS Gymnasium

In support of a safe, respectful, and responsible learning environment, LPBNHS conducted an Anti-Bullying Symposium attended by Senior High School students.

The program began with a meaningful message from Ma’am Cecille of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of General Tinio, highlighting the importance of awareness in preventing bullying and protecting learners’ welfare.

Sir Dimple discussed OSAEC (Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children) and OSAEM (Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials), focusing on online safety, digital responsibility, and the serious risks of online exploitation.

Ma’am Angel elaborated on the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 (RA 10627), including its definition, types of bullying, effects on victims, warning signs, and proper reporting mechanisms within the school system.

After the discussion, the student body was represented by the SSLG Vice President, Alliah Vennise Marcilang, who delivered a response emphasizing the rights and responsibilities of students. She reminded her fellow learners that while students have the right to be protected, respected, and heard, they also carry the responsibility to practice kindness, respect others, and actively help maintain a safe and bully-free school environment.

The symposium strengthened the awareness and responsibility of Senior High School learners in promoting respect, empathy, and a bully-free environment.

Special thanks to Mayor Sherry Ann Bolisay for providing juice and biscuits for the participants.

Together, let us continue building a safe, respectful, and empowered Lino P. Bernardo National High School community.

GENERAL ORIENTATION FOR JHS AND SHS STUDENTS

LPBNHS successfully conducted its General Orientation for Junior High School and Senior High School students in preparation for School Year 2026–2027.

The activity started with an inspiring welcome message from our School Principal IV, Ma’am Wilma F. Ramos, who shared her vision of a school-wide Zero Waste Program and a happy school environment where both students and teachers can thrive throughout the year. As part of this initiative, students are encouraged to practice CLAYGO (Clean As You Go) by bringing their own plastic bags to serve as personal trash bins. There will be no trash cans or bins inside classrooms and around the school campus to promote personal responsibility in waste management.
