CHS Advisory:

In consideration of the recent seismic activity and its impact on our academic community, the University announces the Adjustments of the Summer Class Enrollment Period and the start of summer class.

In light of the current situation, all Summer Classes will be implemented through Flexible Learning, pursuant to Memo No. 049-26C, to ensure the continuity of academic activities while safeguarding the welfare of students, faculty, and staff.

The revised enrollment schedule and other pertinent details shall be communicated through the University’s official channels. All concerned are advised to regularly monitor these platforms for further announcements and updates.

The University appreciates the understanding, cooperation, and continued commitment of the academic community during this time.

CHS Pulse | Student Academic Performance Review (SAPRe)

The College of Health Sciences successfully conducted the Student Academic Performance Review (SAPRe) for the 2nd Semester, AY 2025–2026, as part of its semester-end academic activity.

This activity served as an opportunity to review students’ academic performance, recognize areas of growth, and strengthen support mechanisms that promote student success and academic excellence.

Through SAPRe, the CHS continues its commitment to guiding students toward improved learning outcomes and holistic development.

CHS PULSE | P.A.L. Triad Co-Designed FOSA 2026: Finals OSCE and Simulation Activity

The College of Health Sciences proudly highlights the successful conduct of this year’s Finals Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and Simulation Activity (FOSA), a culminating academic exercise designed to provide Level I BSN students with realistic and meaningful clinical learning experiences.

This year’s FOSA was headed by Dean Pedrigosa and was collaboratively co-designed by the P.A.L. Triad — AD Pedrigosa, Ms. Almeniana, and Ms. Lo—whose combined expertise ensured the development of authentic clinical scenarios that strengthened students’ clinical reasoning, decision-making, communication, and patient-care skills.

The activity was further enriched through the invaluable support of Mr. Al- Owenn Omapas (SimTech) and Ms. Jade Anne Indad (LabTech), whose technical and laboratory assistance helped create a highly immersive simulation environment that mirrored real-world healthcare settings.

Through innovative simulation-based education and rigorous assessment, FOSA continues to reinforce the College’s commitment to producing competent, compassionate, and practice-ready healthcare professionals.

Congratulations to the faculty, staff, simulation team, and students for the 1st successful implementation of FOSA, exemplifying excellence in clinical education and collaborative learning.

Holiday? No — it’s Simulation Day! 🩺✨

While others enjoy the holiday break, our Level I Nursing students were busy turning learning into action as they successfully completed their OSCE and finished their case scenario simulation activity.

From assessment to intervention, teamwork to critical thinking, today was dedicated to strengthening clinical skills and preparing for real-life patient care.

Indeed, no holiday for future nurses when learning and excellence call! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

RESULTS ARE OUT!

All qualified applicants for the Panel Interview are advised to refer to the Official List and take note of their assigned applicant codes, cohort room assignments, and designated AM or PM interview schedules.

Applicants are expected to strictly follow the schedule provided to them.

Applicants whose names are not included in the list did not meet the required cutoff for the next phase of the selection process. They are advised to proceed to the Admissions Office for guidance on the next steps.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Conduct of the Nursing Aptitude Test 2026

Pursuant to Special Order No. 608-26C, titled “Guidelines for the Nursing Aptitude Test and Admission for Incoming BS Nursing Students,” the College of Health Sciences announces the conduct of the Nursing Aptitude Test (NAT) 2026 as part of the admission process for the Nursing Program.

At least 150 applicants have been shortlisted to take the Nursing Aptitude Test (NAT) and will receive a confirmation email from the Admissions Office. Only applicants with an official confirmation email will be allowed to take the NAT.

Based on the Nursing Aptitude Test (NAT) results, the Top 70 NAT Examinees will proceed to the next stage of the admission process and will qualify for the Panel Interview.

After the completion of all required screening procedures, the final 45 applicants will be admitted to the Nursing Program for Academic Year 2026–2027.

Qualified applicants are advised to refer to the pubmats below for the official schedule, venue, general reminders, dress code, and items to bring.
