Mayor Lorelie G. Pacquiao has issued Executive Order No. 47 declaring the suspension of classes at all levels in both public and private schools, and the suspension of work in private and government offices in General Santos City today, August 5, 2026 (Wednesday), following the magnitude 6.4 earthquake and the ground shaking experienced in the city.
Residents are advised to remain vigilant, monitor official advisories, and prioritize their safety.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Due to recent earthquake experienced in the Mindanao area, please be informed that all office transactions at Gensan College of Technology, Inc. will remain suspended until the release of the structural clearance for the school building.

The structural clearance will serve as an assurance that the building is safe for occupancy and normal operations.

Suspension of office transactions shall remain in effect until further notice.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety and well-being of everyone in our community.
