Donation Drive for the Fire Victims of Kulasi

A tragic fire broke out in the early hours of May 06, 2025, in Purok Kulasi, General Santos City, leaving many households affected and families displaced. Several homes were destroyed, and those impacted are now grappling with significant hardship.

We, the 𝙍𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 (𝙍𝘾𝙔) and 𝙋𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮 (𝙋𝙁𝙎) of Labangal National High School, together with other 𝙍𝘾𝙔 councils from MSU-Gensan Council and General Santos City National High School Council, are launching a donation drive to help the families affected by the recent fire in Purok Kulasi, Labangal. Many of them lost their homes and are in urgent need of support.

We are accepting:

• Water (in a container)
• Canned goods
• Rice
• Medicines
• Hygiene kits

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀/𝗧𝗦𝗚 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 held their final meeting for the school year, led by our beloved School Guidance Counselor and club adviser, Ma'am Mira Flor J. Dionaldo.

The meeting was attended by the outgoing officers and graduating members, and also served as a planning session for the club’s upcoming activities for School Year 2025–2026.

As part of their legacy, the outgoing officers turned over an electric stand fan to the Counseling Office—a thoughtful initiative supervised by the outgoing President, Mr. Khier Justine Julit, along with other dedicated members of the club.

As FPOP Kabataang SOX, working on the ground, we have witnessed the critical need to equip young people with the right knowledge to safeguard themselves and make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

The power to transform lives and create a safer future for the youth lies with the decision-makers. We strongly urge them to support and pass Senate Bill 1979 in favor of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE).

We are speaking up because the voices from the grassroots are clear—we need this law NOW. Together, we can build a world where every young person is empowered, informed, and capable of making choices that secure their future. 💙

Practice deep breathing—inhale, exhale, chill lang.
Stay active! Move around, stretch, or take a quick walk.
Take a time out—pause muna, it's okay to take a break.
Limit caffeine and sugar—bawasan ang mga triggers, besh!

Chill lang, kaya mo 'yan! Focus on your well-being and take it one step at a time. 💪
