My heart is both full and heavy as we bid farewell to our beloved SHS Federation Officers for SY 2025–2026.

We do not simply say goodbye—we celebrate a journey filled with dedication, service, sacrifices, laughter, challenges, and countless moments of growth. You have led with courage, worked with passion, and carried your responsibilities with hearts that truly cared for the student body. Behind every successful program, every meaningful initiative, and every challenge conquered was your hard work, teamwork, and commitment. Many people only saw the successful events, the smiles on stage, and the finished outputs, but I was blessed enough to witness the hard work, the tears, the stress, and the determination that built every success.

Our farewell theme, “Cosmic Collision: Where Leaders Were Formed,” beautifully reflects your journey. Like stars meeting in the vast universe, each of your unique strengths, ideas, and personalities collided to create something extraordinary—a constellation of leaders who inspired others and left a lasting mark on our school community.

Thank you for your unwavering service, for the sleepless nights, for the efforts no one saw, and for choosing to lead even when it was difficult. More than the accomplishments, I will always treasure the people you have become—resilient, compassionate, and purpose-driven individuals ready to shine brighter in the next chapter of your lives.

This may be the end of your term as officers, but the leadership, lessons, and memories you built will forever remain. I am beyond honored to have witnessed your growth and to have been part of your journey.

𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿: 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗢𝗛𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟴 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗛𝗦

The SHS Quadrangle at Bawing NHS wasn’t just a venue this week; it was a stage for pure inspiration. PAGARBOHAY Season 8, themed “Curiosity in Motion, Learning in Action,” filled everyone with excitement and joy as Senior High School learners from different strands showcased their talents through lively performances and engaged in different recreational games.

With lively performances, the event continued to excite the learners as they battled in different recreational games brought out their joyful, childlike spirits. Cheers filled the venue as learners and teachers competed in a friendly and spirited manner, making the celebration even more vibrant and enjoyable for everyone.
The most exciting activity of Pagarbohay was the Amazing Race, where students displayed teamwork, speed, and creativity while completing various challenges. Their problem-solving skills, quick thinking, and endurance were put to the test. The energy, laughter, and enthusiastic support from the crowd made the race truly unforgettable.

The celebration concluded with the awarding ceremony and a lively foam party allowing both learners and teachers to relax, laugh, and celebrate together. Truly, PAGARBOHAY Season 8 became a meaningful moment of learning in action, strengthened bonds, and shared happiness.

Kudos to the SHS Federation Officers and their adviser for their dedication and hard work in making this academic event a success. Truly, another core memory unlocked—one that leaves everyone excited and looking forward to an even bigger and more meaningful PAGARBOHAY celebration next year.

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘: 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮 𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗦𝗦 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗙𝗣

BAWING, February 6, 2026 — Grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) learners of Bawing National High School (BawNHS) conducted a symposium entitled “Fire Prevention and Safety Awareness” in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), on Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the BRC Building, BawNHS.

The activity, which served as a form of community engagement, aimed to educate students and members of the school community on fire safety, prevention, and proper emergency response.

Personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection discussed common causes of fire incidents, safety protocols, and the importance of preparedness during emergencies. Following the lecture, participants took part in a fire drill and practical demonstrations, allowing them to apply the knowledge discussed.

BFP officers demonstrated the bucket relay method as an effective way to control fires in the absence of firefighting equipment. They also provided hands-on instruction on the proper use of fire extinguishers, emphasizing correct handling and safety precautions.

Learners actively participated in the drill and demonstrations, gaining firsthand experience in responding to fire-related emergencies. The activity helped build confidence, awareness, and a sense of responsibility among participants.

Teachers and school administrators commended the Grade 12 HUMSS learners for organizing an activity that not only developed their leadership and coordination skills but also contributed to the safety and well-being of the school and the surrounding community.

The symposium concluded with a reminder from the Bureau of Fire Protection for everyone to remain alert, practice fire safety measures, and share the knowledge gained with their families and communities.

VOICES UNITED, TALENTS IGNITED

The Senior High School learners of Bawing National High School fearlessly took the stage at the Division Festival of Talents – Read-a-Thon Speech Choir, representing District 7 with power, passion, and purpose.

With powerful harmony and meaningful expression, the team delivered an inspiring performance of “Desiderata” by Max Ehrmann, a piece that echoes wisdom, peace, and perseverance. Competing against four outstanding schools from different districts, Bawing NHS stood firm in excellence, discipline, and unity on stage.

This was not just a competition—it was a declaration of talent, resilience, and school pride.

Salute to our Speech Choir Participants, Student-Choreographers, and Teacher-Mentors for lifting the voice of District 7 and making Bawing NHS Senior High School heard loud and clear!
