”𝘔𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘰𝘨 𝘱𝘢 𝘣𝘢? 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦. 𝘔𝘢𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴, 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘻𝘻𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘮𝘴 𝘱𝘢? 𝘈𝘣𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺.”

They came, they studied… and then the quiz covered the one chapter they skipped.

Finals Hell Week rolled in like a corrupted file: unexpected, unkind, and definitely impossible to open without crying. Students jumped from quiz to quiz like NPCs completing side quests they never signed up for. Midterms? Done. Peace of mind? Gone. Each day felt like an intense academic obstacle course: a quiz at 8 AM, a long test at 10, a surprise exam at 1, and an “additional requirement” announced at 4:59 PM. Truly, peak sem energy.

Armed with iced coffee, questionable life choices, 17 unopened reviewers, and a never-ending Python traceback, students push through the digital storm, debugging not just their code, but also their will to live. Group chats buzz, IDEs freeze, and sanity… well, that one has stopped responding.

Because sometimes, college is 10% studying… and 90% perfectly remembering which page the answer is on but not the answer itself. 📚🔥

Today, 𝙉𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the nation 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝘼𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤, the founder and Supremo of the Katipunan, whose courage sparked the Philippine Revolution against Spanish rule. Bonifacio Day commemorates his life, bravery, and devotion to the ideals of freedom and justice. This day reminds us to reflect on the sacrifices that shaped our nation.

Across the Philippines, ceremonies are held at monuments and historical sites, wreaths are laid, and speeches are given to honor his leadership and vision for a free nation. These acts of remembrance inspire patriotism and unity among Filipinos of all generations.

The Junior Information Technology Society (JITS) proudly congratulates 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀 for being crowned as the Pearl of Sarangani on November 29, 2025, at the Munato Festival Stage, Province of Sarangani.

Representing the Municipality of Alabel, Baylosis delivered an exceptional performance against the 14 candidates across 7 municipalities of the Province of Sarangani.

This not only goes to show Baylosis’ beauty and pageantry, but also shows JITS students’ talent and wit.

The Junior Information Technology Society (JITS) students, along with the IT and Physics Department of Mindanao State University - General Santos, attended the Cyber Defense Security Conference (CDSC) in partnership with Trend Micro Philippines, at the University Gymnasium on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

IT and physics students of MSU-Gensan, along with faculty, were graced with topics such as responsible use of AI, scam mitigation and detection, countering hackers, etc. to raise their awareness and valuable insights in a growing, digitized world. Knowledge in these topics are crucial in an online setting where security risks are a thing. 👩‍💻🌐

After all, cybersecurity is no longer optional: it is an essential responsibility. Events like these empower students and faculty alike to be more vigilant and informed in the future. 🔒
