At the Open Field of the NDDU–Marist Campus, participants from every walk of life moved in a chorus of respect, decency, and peaceful expression, a shared stride taken today, November 30, 2025. Families, youth groups, community organizations, and peace advocates gather for 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆: 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, affirming a unified call for harmony across communities.

Sa bisa ng Memorandum 004-25OVCSAS, pinaaalahanan ang lahat ng estudyante na sumakay at tangkilikin lamang ang accredited MSU riders (habal-habal drivers).

Para sa ligtas na biyahe, ito ang ilan sa mga dapat ugaliin:

1. Sumakay lamang sa mga naka-unipormeng accredited MSU riders (see photos);

2. Bago sumakay, i-message muna sa kamag-anak, kaklase o kaibigan ang pangalan at member number na makikita sa uniforms ng rider. Mas mabuti rin na kuhanan ng picture ang plate number.

3. Huwag mag-share ng personal information sa rider.

4. Kung may reklamo, agad ipaalam sa OVCSAS thru the Office of Student Development Services.

Iskolar ng Bayan, maging listo para sa’yong kaligtasan. Kasama ang OVCSAS at lahat na, sama-sama tayo para sa mas ligtas at magaling na MSU GenSan.

The purpose of this Online Safety Reporting Form is to provide a confidential and secure platform where MSU-GenSan students can report cases of gender-based violence and other safety-related concerns. This initiative ensures that all perpetrators are held accountable and that proper actions are taken through the right channels.

We highly encourage everyone to report incidents through this official form rather than posting them other platforms, which may not effectively address the issue and could lead to further harm or misinformation.

The data collected, such as the number and nature of reported cases, will greatly aid in documentation, policy recommendations, and future preventive programs, helping us create a safer campus for all.

As Intramurals 2025 kicks off tomorrow, we remind all MSUans to choose riders with the “Safe Space” sticker! 🏍️

This sticker serves as proof that our accredited MSU Riders have undergone the “Ride with Pride: Gender Sensitivity and Safe Spaces on the Road” seminar, where they were trained on SOGIESC awareness and the prevention of gender-based harassment.

By supporting these riders, you help promote respect, safety, and inclusivity on our campus roads. Together, let’s ensure that every ride is a safe ride.

‎MSU Riders earn 'safe space' stickers as proof of commitment to safe, inclusive rides

‎The Empress MSU, led by project leader Cendie Garcia and president Russel Bankas, in partnership with the Office of Student Development Services (OSDS), Gender and Development (GAD), Supreme Student Council (SSC), Babaylanes Inc., and Bahagsubay Gensan, distributed Safe Space stickers to members of the MSU Riders Association this Thursday afternoon.

‎Stickers serve as proof that riders have completed the GAD seminar “Ride with Pride: Gender Sensitivity and Safe Spaces on the Road,” which promotes safe and inclusive commuting within the campus.

‎This initiative also comes amid riders’ concerns over the increasing number of individuals posing as campus riders by wearing fake uniforms and using imitation MSU logo stickers.
‎
‎Garcia reminded MSUans to stay vigilant when availing motorcycle rides, noting that only accredited riders wear official uniforms with names, assigned numbers, and designated colors: red for Monday and Thursday, maroon for Tuesday and Friday, and blue for Wednesday.
‎
‎Meanwhile, Jerameel Sanico, a member of the MSU Riders Association, emphasized the importance of recognizing accredited members.
‎
‎“Once musulod nga di naka uniform ug di ga sulod sa patakaran, suspended gyud ang rider. Kanang mga ga byahe nga di naka uniform di na namo kauban,” Sanico expressed.
‎
‎Empress MSU and its partners urge MSUans to verify riders’ accreditation and be vigilant by checking uniforms, and ‘Safe Space’ stickers, especially as the university prepares for the upcoming Intramurals.
