The Mindanao State University Alumni Association (MSUAA) is now accepting applications for the National Student Assistance Program (NSAP).

The program provides financial assistance to deserving graduating students of the MSU System who demonstrate financial need, with two (2) scholarship slots allocated to qualified graduating students from the MSU-General Santos Campus.

WHO MAY APPLY?
Applicants must:
โ€ข Be a graduating student
โ€ข Have no failing grade
โ€ข Demonstrate financial need

Priority will be given to:
-Students who are the first to graduate in their immediate family
-Students from Indigenous Peoples (IP), where applicable

BENEFIT:
โ‚ฑ3,000 monthly stipend

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
โ€ข Certificate of Registration (COR)
โ€ข Certificate of Indigency
โ€ข Other supporting documents, if applicable

September 12, 2026, 1:30pm at MSU GenSan Open Field, two football teams of alumni exchanged kicks and dashes in the Football Friendship Game match. The event was organized by Dr. Randy Asturias, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development of MSU General Santos, and a sports enthusiast himself.

Coming back again to MSU GenSan grounds, Team South is composed of graduates from Colleges of Engineering, Business Administration and Accountancy, and Fisheries while Team North is from the alumni of Colleges of Agriculture, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Social Sciences and Humanities and Education). As fun as it is, the players and organizers kept lost track of the scores and the game went on purely as a moment of pure fun.

The event is formally recognized and supported by the MSU Alumni Association TIGIANAY ALUMNI Sportsfest 2026.
