Pursuant to BOR Resolution No. 14, series of 2025, the standard Alumni ID issued by the MSU Alumni Association (MSUAA) is hereby recognized as the sole and official Alumni ID of the university system. This ID shall be signed by the MSUAA National President, who serves as the Alumni Regent.
Furthermore, as stipulated in Annex โLโ of the same resolution, the Alumni ID fee is set at Three Hundred Pesos (P 300.00). This fee will cover ID production costs and support the programs of the MSUAA National Board and its local chapters.

From April 13 to 15, 2026, MSU System Alumni Regent Engr. Samuel Sabenecio and Former Alumni Regent Dr. Renato Boniao visited MSU General Santos to attend series of activities set by the Chancellor.
Aside from the MOA Signing for the Bahay Alumni, chapter officers and the alumni regents leveled off in leading the alumni chapters and best practices in the past and future programs.
Dr. Norman Ralph Isla, GenSan Chapter President, led the protocol committee. Some officers who were present are: Ms. Noralyn J. Pascua (VP), Ms. Noralyn L. Bidad (President-in-Waiting), Ms. Jorgelyn C. Rivera (Secretary), Ms. Rhea M. Ayop (Treasurer), Mr. John Michael D. Macaya (Auditor), Mr. Francis Renzo Diaz (PRO), and BOD Members - Ms. Jasmin Saricala, Dr. Ian Jay Sunio, Ms. Julie Andura and Dr. Jane S. Malasador.

With the indulgence of Chancellor Atty. Shidik T. Abantas, the MOA signing between MSU Alumni Association and MSU General Santos for the construction of the Bahay Alumni building was conducted at the Office of the Chancellor, April 14, 2026.
Chancellor Abantas highlighted in his speech the commitment of the university to include and recognize the vital role of the alumni to the success of the university. He said that he believed in the vision of the Bahay Alumni program as one of the flagship projects of MSUAA.
After the ceremonial signing, Alumni Regent Engr Samuel Sabenecio, together with former Regent, Dr. Renato Boniao, handed over the symbolical mock check of 1,500,000 pesos to Chancellor Abantas of MSU GenSan.
Dr. Norman Ralph B. Isla, MSUAA GenSan Chapter President, thanked all officers and guests for their participation and stressed that โBahay Alumni is monument recognizing the alumni, a concrete space for the alumni inside the university, a home inside a home.โ
Also present in the event are: Dr. Alma Celesthia D. Aguja (Alumni Relations Director), Ms. Karla Torcelino (Executive Assistant of the Chancellor), and the MSUAA GenSan Chapter Officers - Ms. Noralyn J. Pascua (VP), Ms. Jorgelyn C. Rivera (Secretary), Ms. Rhea M. Ayop (Treasurer), Mr. John Michael D. Macaya (Auditor), and BOD Members - Ms. Julie Ann Andura, Ms. Jasmin Saricala and Dr. Ian Jay Sunio who served as the emcee.

March 7, 2026 - The MSUAA GenSan Chapter Officers visited and had a dialogue with Atty. Shidik T. Abantas, Chancellor of MSU General Santos.
Highlights of the dialogue are the construction of the Bahay Alumni Project and the preparation for the upcoming MOA Signing on the project, and the future programs of the Chapter in relation to fund raising and revenue generation.
Dr. Norman Ralph Isla, Chapter President, led the dialogue and pointed out in his talk the current challenges the Chapter is facing though he stressed that his confidence to the team will result to good governance and productivity.
Dr. Alma Celesthia D. Aguja, Alumni Relations Director, shared best practices and programs of the University so to align it with the plans and activities of the Chapter.
Also present in the dialogue are the major officers - Ms. Noralyn J. Pascua (Vice President), Ms. Jorgelyn C. Rivera (Secretary), Ms. Rhea M. Ayop (Treasurer), Mr. John Michael Macaya (Auditor) and Mr. Francis Renzo Diaz (PRO), and BOD Members - Engr. Abdulgapur Kudarat, Dr. Jane Malasador.

The newly-elected officers of MSUAA GenSan Chapter gathered for its 1st Regular Meeting and Strategic Planning last March 4, 2026 at Lagao, General Santos City.
Dr. Norman Ralph Isla, President, presided the meeting and shared the big plans for the Chapter this year. Also, he gave an orientation on the CBL and discussed matters on membership development and flagship programs.
The Board of Directors assigned Chairpersons and Members of various standing committees: Revenue Generation, Community Programs and Projects, Scholarship & Academic Enhancement Programs, Job Placement, Constitutional, Membership Development, Publications and Finance.
MSUAA GenSan Chapter looks forward for the partnership with MSU General Santos Alumni Relations Office for the Balik Tambler 2026 on October. Aside from the Grand Reunion, notable proposals are one big day Sportsfest for the alumni members and their families.
Among notable proposals are follow up on the Balai Alumni, Pickleball Court, and posting of Alum of the Week.

The former and the new set of elected officials of MSUAA GenSan Chapter gathered formally for the Turnover Ceremony at MSU General Santos, January 28, 2026. Highlight of the event is the acceptance of gavel of responsibility of the newly-elected Chapter President, Dr. Norman Ralph B. Isla.
Dr. Alma Celesthia D. Aguja, Director of the Alumni Relations Office, welcomed the officers for this new chapter in the leadership of the alumni association. She expressed her trust and confidence and excitement to be working together with everyone.
Sir Firmo Bargayo Sr., outgoing President, expressed on behalf of all past officers their hopes and prayers for the new set of officers.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Isla, on behalf of all new officers, emphasized the value of honoring the wisdom of the past, and preparing for the bliss of the future. He pointed out that it is in the soul of every MSUan to give back for their โMSU Beloved, our Dakilang Pamantasang Mindanao.โ
Also happened in the event, Ms. Eljean C. Cobarde, outgoing Treasurer, presented the financial report and finally handed over this to Ms. Rhea M. Ayop, the newly-elected Treasurer. Ms. Jorgelyn C. Rivera, the new Secretary, hosted the event while Mr. Francis Renzo Diaz, PIO introduced all the participants.
Also present in the occasion are Ms. Noralyn L. Bidad (President-in-Waiting), Ms. Noralyn J. Pascua (Vice President), Mr. John Michael Macaya (Auditor), Ms. Julie Ann Andura (BOD) and Prof. Evann Keith Tabasa (BOD).
