Assalamu alaykum. As earthquake relief goods (ayuda) continue to reach our affected communities, the MSU-Gensan Halal Research and Training Center (HRTC) reminds our Muslim brothers and sisters to remain observant of the Halal integrity of distributed food items.
Before distributing or consuming food relief, please practice the 3-Step Halal Check:
π 1. VERIFY THE LOGO
Look for a valid Halal logo on the packaging and ensure it is issued by a recognized Halal Certification Body (HCB).
π 2. READ THE INGREDIENTS
Scan the label carefully. Avoid products with critical or doubtful (mashbooh) ingredients if the source cannot be verified.
π² 3. CONSULT HRTC
Unsure about a specific relief item? Message our official page directly so our team can verify it.
Let us work together to keep our relief efforts safe, accurate, and Halal-compliant. Stay safe, stay observant!
