LOOK| Mindanao State UniversityโGeneral Santos City Pre-Service Teachers Deployment Program Successfully Conducted.
The Mindanao State UniversityโGeneral Santos City (MSU-Gensan) Pre-Service Teachers Deployment Program was successfully conducted on September 2, 2026, marking another meaningful partnership between MSU-Gensan and Labangal National High School in preparing future educators for the teaching profession.
The activity involved students from the College of Education of MSU-Gensan who are taking the Experiential Learning Course as part of their academic requirements. The formal turnover and deployment of the pre-service teachers were led by Ma'am Almera M. Sales, BSED Department Chairperson, and Ma'am Jessel Gay Wacan, BPED Department Chairperson, representing MSU-Gensan.
A total of 31 pre-service teachers were warmly welcomed and accepted by the School Head, Ma'am Mylene S. Arzadon, Principal I, represented during the activity by the Assistant to the Principal, Ma'am Anabel S. Mesias.
An orientation for the cooperating teachers was facilitated by the Junior High School Department Head Designate, Ma'am Gwen Ann Manos, MT I, while the orientation for the pre-service teachers was conducted by Ma'am Esmaida Andang-Alaiden, BSED Supervising Teacher of MSU-Gensan.
More than simply fulfilling their academic requirements, the deployment provides the pre-service teachers with a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and deepen their understanding of the teaching profession. Through their immersion at Labangal National High School, they will have the privilege of learning from experienced and veteran teachers who will guide and inspire them as they prepare to become competent, committed, and passionate educators of the future.
