Today is marked as wonderful for a wonderful person, and that is none other than our beloved adviser Ma’am Luna!

Happy Birthday‚ Ma’am! Your name always reminds me of the moon, and somehow it fits you perfectly‚ because even the moon shines with a warm yellow glow when the night feels dark. That’s exactly the kind of person you are to us. Our yellow person. Someone who brings comfort‚ light‚ patience‚ and warmth wherever she goes.

It’s amazing how the people around you seem to shine a little brighter because of the kindness and care you give in everything you do. Thank you for being more than just our adviser‚ thank you for being someone who made Grade 12 feel lighter‚ safer‚ and happier.

DEFORESTATION

Deforestation is the large-scale removal of trees for agriculture, logging, or urban development. While it provides economic benefits, its environmental impact is severe. Forests support biodiversity, regulate climate, and protect soil. When trees are cut down, wildlife loses habitats, leading to species extinction. Deforestation also contributes to climate change by releasing stored carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, increasing greenhouse gases. Without trees, soil erodes, causing landslides and reduced fertility. To combat deforestation, reforestation and sustainable land use are essential. Governments must enforce environmental laws, and individuals can help by reducing waste and supporting eco-friendly products. Protecting forests is crucial for maintaining ecological balance and ensuring a healthy planet for future generations. Immediate action is needed to stop deforestation and preserve Earth’s natural resources.
